The fact that this story stops here breaks my heart. Truly. it was engaging, and has me clamoring for more. Well done. I hope to see this story completed one day.

What an idiotic Naruto, he is already brainwashed...he has no rational brain...what looser...skip...next

The longer I read this, the less convinced I was to the story. Finally, the worst possible thing happened - I realised that I don't care for anybody in this story. Naruto could die and I would say "Meh, okay." We are supposed to feel compassion for Naruto, but I can't. He is too stubborn, too naive and too proud of it. Despite his life being a tragedy, he is trying to make everybody feel bad for what they did. Big news - he is not the center of the world (okay, maybe he is as the MC, but that's beside the point).

There is Hinata, not as sweet and shy girl as in canon, but loud, ranting harrigan. There is Tsunade - in canon focused mostly on Naruto, here happily manipulating him and lying to herself that it's for his own good.

The Uzumakis - I do care for them - they annoy me. So self righteous, convinced that they can walk into a military base, take away a military asset, because they are good guys. They don't have even power to be this arrogant. This is pure stupidity on their part.

Another important part - there is this paradox - despite life and death situations, fights, the plot doesn't move much - I'm bored. The story is about Uzu, there were dozens of thousands of words and to this date I didn't see one description of their buidings, kage's tower. Naruto still didn't move there. Every chapter, every paragraph is an attempt at micro psychoanalysys, therapy and justification of past actions in one. It becomes repetitive after a while.

This is an idiotic request by naruto ALL THE WAY AROUND! "Your family/clan and your village" or "go someplace you don't know, be around people that are ALREADY going to be hostile toward you and have NO family/clan, but be with ONE friend"! See that's idiocy for everyone BUT hinata! Her clan more or less hates her anyway and she loves naruto, so she's IN FACT the ONLY one in a position to do so!

Plus why doesn't uzu bring up the fact that ALL of this (including naruto's mistrust) is the third's STUPIDITY!? This is ALL pretty much his bloody fault! He screwed up OVER AND OVER and OVER!

"we can't have him arrested now", quite frankly danzo is quite BEYOND the "arresting stage" regardless of clout or anything else, he's at the "gonna die for his crimes" stage, no trial or anything else.. Its FAR too late for anything else. For ALL parties involved... His plans for "hokage" gone with his public acts, all of it, BLEW UP, he blew it, his ENTIRE LIFE has been for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING now! The clan heads know now (hinata told hiashi remember) all the rookies know (they were all present at the interrogation) and they ARE the new clan heads.. Everything IS CRUSHED!

VERY STUPID is worse then just about anything, because "you can't FIX stupid"... and the toad's excuse was EXTREMELY lame... His "spy network" was the reason?.. Um then how did orochimaru set up a village without his knowledge, invade the leaf with A MOBILIZED ARMY not getting noticed and kill a kage again without the perv knowing? How did danzo run An UNSANCTIONED ARMY for years without him knowing, and how does he not KNOW the "who and where" of the akutski by now? "what they want with the tailed beasts" IS IRRELEVANT! WHO CARES?! Just where they are, who they are, and HOW TO KILL THEM, that's ALL that SHOULD MATTER! But he doesn't even know THAT! It seems to me his "spies" are KINDA WORTHLESS and the ONLY thing in his entire LIFE that ACTUALLY matters to the world, he has neglected! He's NOW trying to play "spin doctor" which he's about as good at, as being a "spy master"!

Actually shouldn't they ALREADY know all these people are since they QUITE LITERALLY have "root" spelled out on their face!
