Duy's uniqueness is unrivaled, so does Duy's UKEness. btw what was the name of that meanie guys(whose their poisoned attitude towards Sakumo/Duy is exactly the same as Haruno Sakura towards Yamanaka Ino) who says Sakumo/Duy must wed. i'm 100% sure they are Haruno Suckura's family's members.

Ah, what a heartbreaking piece! I feel like this perfectly shows who they are, how they are the same and how they are different. If only Sakumo had chosen to protect his son in the same way Dai did. I often wonder about his choice.

Either way, amazing job. I feel like this is a story I'll come back to often.

There was a smut scene?! Is it gonna turn up in your other fanfic?! Please say yes in your head and non-verbally commit to allowing all of us to read such a scene... or more than one scene, the more the merrier. But I loved this story! I was feeling groovy and good but then the implications at the end straight back handed me into my feels.

You are amazing. This story is amazing. Wow. This is absolutely brilliant and so well written. It also didn't need the smut scene, so thank you for leaving that out. It is a better idea to post it separately. But wow. This is the most amazing thing I've read in a while, truly. Well done. This deserves so much more love.

Awww :) This is really adorable... and tragic. As soon as I saw Dai in the manga I started wondering how he and Sakumo would have got along, and you totally nailed it. They're similar to their children, but not the same. I especially loved the times their children are brought up- the lines from Sakumo and Dai's somewhat-insulted rebuke. If you ever wrote in that Samuko/Dai non-suicide verse / that story, I would certainly (stalk it) not complain!

I liked their interaction and especially Dai's internal monologue on Sakumo's actions. The bit with the gate guards just kind of killed my heart, so. Yeah. Thanks for that. (But honestly - that was really well done and comparing his skin to an elephant's was just brilliant.)

i'm glad you left out the smut scene, i really don't think it fits with these two. that said, i like how you had Dai thinking about how distant they were, yet now they're on the same page of understanding.

the part where Dai thinks there's a friendship forming between them now is pretty sad considering what happens next.

and actually i'd love to see that long fic or maybe even a sequel to this one showing Dai's reaction to finding out that Sakumo killed himself (or worse, if it happened while he was standing there that night). it actually might lead into how Kakashi and Gai became friends.

Anyways, i like reading your stories, even if i don't always review.
