Great story
I have an idea for a part of a new story or story in general but it involves naruto getting the akimichi, inuzuka, nara, yamanaka and hyuga along with some other jonin and or chunin who like guy and kakashi specilise in certain areas of shinobi skills, hunting(inuzuka) academy meals and cooking(akamichi) psychiatric(if they can handle the life) and counciling(yamanaka) and chakra control and if the students have huge or tiny reserves(hyuga) and theory/battle tactics(nara).

I am getting such Windrunner vibes from Naruto.

I'm confused by the way you've gone about this four-way pairing with Naruto and his girls. If Sakura had remained the best friend/love interest that would make sense. If Hinata had been a second love interest, and Naruto had to choose between them, that would've been interesting. It bothers me that despite your promises from the beginning this wouldn't be a harem-fic, it reads like one. Haku, Hinata and Sakura become blushing, stuttering messes early in the story, hell, every kunoichi or civilian girl Naruto meets gets like that. Naruto loses his shirt more times than I care to count, and somehow cherishes them all equally. No wonder your readers want them paired that way; you set the stage for it. I suppose you could kill off one but that would piss off your readers more than not continuing the harem.

I actually quite like your AU and a lot of the plot you wrote. We've seen civilian council cliches before but yours seems pretty dark and insidious. They also seem incompetent and impotent, except when the plot demands they aren't so we can have a real threat, but it never really feels threatining. Akatsuki seems very threatining and I like how you show the hidden pains people can have that gets glossed over in canon i.e. scene with Nagato and Konan, Oorochimaru summoning Hiruzen's late wife, Naruto and Sasuke actually working their way through their mental issues, all unexpected and very welcome. I also like seeing more into the minds of characters and you do a pretty good job of that unless you need to drag thoughts a certain way for the sake of plot, like how Naruto Haters seems intelligent and dangerous until Naruto gets mentioned, wherupon their brains hemmorage, drool starts leaking everywhere and logic is entirely abandoned. I dunno, man, it's enjoyable to read but I just keep cringing 40 chapters in. Keep writing!

Something just now dawned on me now that I've read this chapter for what must be the 20th time through. There's no way Gaido would be killed by a couple of shuriken to the back. Standard shuriken are disabling weapons. They don't penetrate deep enough to do any major damage anywhere except the head and neck. The only way they'd be fatal in other areas would be if they severed a major artery or vein and the subject bled out. Hell, Iruka walked away from a WINDMILL SHURIKEN to the back! Honestly it should have damn near sliced him in half!

In short, there's nothing vital anywhere on the back that's close enough to the surface of the skin to be hit by a shuriken. Kunai may be able to penetrate deep enough to pierce organs, but not standard shuriken.

damn I love this story so far I can't stop reading it I love how you change sakura outlook on naruto.

Anbu does not obey the council, the council has no authority to send Anbu on a mission, they have no authority to alter the makeup of an Anbu mission team. Furthermore, Anbu are not idiots. They are some of the most highly trained and deadly ninja in the entire village. Very few, if any of them at all, would in any way view Naruto as the Kyuubi reborn. It doesn’t matter how manipulative the “council” that doesn’t exist is, there is absolutely NO WAY that they’ve been able to run a scam of this size in a village of trained assassins and spies for this long without being noticed. I wanted to give this story a try because I like what you’ve done with the characters of Naruto, Hinata, and Sakura, and I really wanted to be able to push though the things that I don’t like. But half of this chapter just completely shattered my SoD to pieces. Best of luck in your writing.

So how does Naruto get chased down and cornered in alleyways by totally random ninja of high levels who should absolutely be more intelligent than they are, and yet the clans don’t know he’s a Jinchuuriki? I really don’t understand the reasoning behind your decision to make it so that no one somehow knows he’s a Jinchuuriki except for when it’s convenient to have people try to kill him or deny him treatment at a hospital / services at stores. I do like the rest of your story, however, and for now I’m going to keep on reading and hope that nothing else that doesn’t make sense like that breaks my SoD completely.

This was another interesting chapter Ino was pretty cool and being a good investigater and interrogator also, Shikamaru and the others are all planning which is good, Tsunade well it's hard to get a read on her is she only focused on Naruto and nothing else or are her elders not seeing the true picture, lastly there is Jiriaya being his normal badass self other than the Hyuga the others knew they were out of there league so gave up shame would have been nice for Jiraiya to kick the crap out of them but oh well.

Wonder what happens next it should be interesting.

I normally don't say this but since it's been a year now will you continue this story?

This was another interesting chapter NaruSaku and the others kicked some ass like they do anyways the Uzumaki from Honoka's time were interesting I suppose u could say, I wonder who this man is at the end he's an Uzumaki that's a certainty I just wonder who and what he really wants with Naruto, it's like he hates Naruto for some reason I can't figure out yet, I wonder what happens next.
