This is really good coming from a fan or probably a professional, whoever it was I really hope things like this happen in the games to come, because for some apparent reason Ubisoft can’t live without killing a relationship. Ezio and Cristina, Arno and Elise etc...

I like your fanfiction it's nice but now I know why they had a Elisa died a moral lesson and that quote at the End by Arno goes much in-depth to what happened to the person you love the most and it's much more realistic tone and much more gritty atone to what he's saying but I like to fanfiction it was nice

You did a good job with the story it was believable but I think Elise is death is a little bit better because of the monologue at the end because of a because she gave in the Vengeance a long time ago and we all know where Vengeance ends up taking us it's a warning to what happens when you choose Vengeance over Common Sense she chose vengeance to avenge your father the girl that Arno had knew years ago died when her father died the Elise he met was an empty shell so it's only fitting that she finally find peace that she could not in life it's sad yes and I do not think you'll be Ubisoft l will not change the ending of the game

This is the best alternate ending I have ever read for any piece of literature. Ubisoft failed to implement exactly what you worked so hard to do. Not only did you perserve the effects of Germain's lesson, but you recreated how Elise would feel afterwards to perfection. Beyond the previous lesson, this ending would also capture the romantic aspect of Paris. If only the video-game execs would've listened to you.

Very nicely written. I much rather prefer your ending to Ubisoft's canon one. There wasn't much point in her death and the game could have used a happier ending for Arno and Elise. Nice work!

I just finnished this game and the ending hit me pretty hard. I guess I should have known Elise would die in the end somehow, but it still brought me to tears. I really enjoyed their story and it was touching at times. Their quest for revenge and answers, even though the differences they had (templar/assassin) felt genuin. I really wanted it to end well for them...
One could say this game felt a bit rushed, not the best written story in the franchise in my opinion and it lacked the story taking part in the present the other games had.
Anyway, really enjoyed this fanfiction. This ending was much more to my taste, a good ending and the justice had been done. Having her die ruined the game for me, as he did what he did for her all along.

I feel this is a much better ending that what was originally presented. Other than a few grammatical errors, I didn't have a problem with this one-shot. I too thought they just wanted to go the "tragic" route for LOL's, and the DLC they released confirmed that.
