I fear I’ve never reviewed this story before, though I’ve been reading it since before The Shadow War’s first chapter was posted :) it’s been several years since I kind of fell out of the LotR fandom, but here I am once again! And your stories were some of the first I wanted to reread. Your writing is so absolutely incredible and this story is beyond anything I’ve ever read before. I can’t even think of the words to tell you how much I love this and your writing. I know it’s been two years since your last update, but I am hoping behind hope that you haven’t abandoned this amazing tale. Though I completely understand if things have changed in your life and you no longer want to write it. I don’t know, I just thought that, if you still get any sort of notifications from this site, you would appreciate knowing that people are still reading this and still adore it fully. Again, I would be delighted if ever you returned to this story, even if only to post like an outline of how you planned for the rest of it to turn out. Wow! You have me hooked with this storyline! Both the first story and this sequel have been phenomenal and suspenseful. You’ve made me feel so many emotions with this story because of your writing style. It’s so elegant and confident, and your cliffhangers were perfect. This is honestly one of the best stories I've ever read. Your writing style is so VIVID! With quarantine from COVID, I'd actually ended up with some free time on my hands. I was looking to read something and remembered this story. Its been YEARS since I read this. When I picked it back up again, I was afraid the story wouldn't be as epic as I remembered since I'd been considerably younger when I had read it before. I was wonderfully shocked to find the story hadn't faded, aged poorly, or lost any of its dramatic cliff-hanger tendencies. I found a little extra bit of escape through this beautiful piece. I haven't found that in a long time. Update when you can, you use the time you take for each chapter well. I'll come back. Hannon le.
