also Tom Riddle (young) was already a Garry Stu in HP admitidtly an evil antagonist version but still.
compleately clueless of magic he was the heir of one of the founders, discovered secrets of the castle not known for over 1000 years, mastered some of the most evil magics the world had to offer before he even attended school and despite what would soon be a war hero teacher that everyone universally loved suspecting him and trying to turn others against him he managed to pursuade everyone that he was a kind and thougtful boy. he became prefect in his 5th year and head boy there after and framed someone for his crimes despite the weapon of choice having nothing in common with his own. he even won an award from the school for framing that person despite his most respected teacher straight up stating that not only did the other kid not do it but susspecting him the whole time. this teacher goes on to be the most legendary wizard in their world since merlin but still cannot convince people that Tom and his monkier Voldemort are the same person nor can he pursuade them that he is alive after he disapears without a body. Twice! whatever tom seems to want the world to belive it just bends over backwards and does.
as an adult the series does not treat him this way but everything we learn about his childhood? yeah total gary stu

Yes, my husband was a teacher. He would rather break up ten guy fights than one girl fight. Tom should definitely leave before the two girls hex each other, scream, yell, then both look at Tom and blame *him*.

This story started out kinda fun, but it's rapidly descending into wankage. It's mostly due to the repeated bludgeoning with "Tom Riddle SOOOOO smrt!" along with "Wizards are stupid". We get it. Move on. That shouldn't be the entire story.
