I hate this. It isn't actually Kakashi you're writing because he never reacts like I'm expecting him to. Or worse, I see him acting in ways that make for a "funner" story. Like the line where he said I can't be your brother... yet. Where the fck does that come from if not the author trying to force an idea they had? It isn't just the world that's heavily AU, Kakashi is too :(

Is this going to be the whole story? Kakashi currying favor with canon characters with no real reason for doing so? So what if Iruka likes him or not, and does it really matter to Kakashi what the other faceless students think of him? I guess I'm grasping at straws to figure out what his motives are and if the plot will head anywhere interesting. Can I only look forward to a slice of life "academy" story or will there be action? Etc.

I'm hoping he ages up quickly. He's so weak he can't even manage moving through large crowds on his own, he's being tricked by childish tactics like he's got the attention span of a goldfish and he actually got caught in an outright lie. Wtf is going on? This is comedy at the expense of the character. And Kakashi is meant to make comedy at the expense of others, not the other way around.

Why would Kakashi of all people wait until he's 18 to buy adult books? He's following the rules like a normal person... how responsible of him.
