I guess their parents never taught them when they were little that when someone offers for them to take whatever they need, it's only polite to leave at least enough for a couple of servings/portions/doses etc. It's like not ordering the most expensive item on the menu when someone else is treating.

aww! this was lovely. i think my favourite part of this fic was the very believable fact that people kept noticing that he was sick and being worried, but managing to get brushed off or distracted. it was such a nice way to stretch out the situation without making it unbearable or unbelievable ahhahaha

This is such a beautiful story! The first few chapters when Merlin was overworked made me feel tired too. All the chores that he had to do, while was sick, poor boy! I can't believe Arthur is that thick headed person who doesn't care about his servant. You wrote it nicely using simple words. Thank you for giving Merlin a sickness that lasts for days. Everyone was in chatacter, except for Gwaine and Arthur. Well maybe thay had a lot of things in their mind. I think Gwaine or Arthur would have noticed if their friend is sick. But I still love it!
