I am always for these gamer type crossover fics, as they are amusing and interesting.

now this is the first time I see one of HOTD honestly and it is very well done so far for a first chapter.

you give a good base ground for Takashi to actually grind and build the relationship with the others, making it so Rie can be tolerable to a degree without the stunts she pulled during first chapter/episode.

true there will be alot of work for her but ti is possible to gain what she once lost...if she manage to pull it off well.

also I recommend to make it a Harem, since with his gaming abilities and such, it will be much easier for him to accept such thing, other than reason that the majority of the human race is driven to extinction and is lawless planet now.

so yeah Harem with this sitting is far easier as with his gaming abilities he can easily balance his relationship with the girls.

anyways this is a great start and I surely hope to see more of this story, it has so much potential and it will be a real shame to see it dropped.
