This was such a great story!

I really didn't expect it to turn out like this, but I loved to read the characters development and the depth of the real issues discussed (abuse, mental health, etc). I also loved the way that Sasuke worked on gaining Sakura's trust. It was clear that both of them didn't believe they had changed and I'm glad they both opened their eyes.

Another interest point was all their embraces and smut: it was more real than many beautiful pieces I read around here. It was genuine and more human? I'm not sure how to describe it, but the scenes showed their insecurities and how it wasn't all fireworks and beds with scattered rose petals, you know? I really like how you wrote them.

I'm really glad I found this fic, it was saved in one of my lists and I don't even know I came across the link in the first place, but I'm glad I did.

P.S. also I found it so relatable - all the online meeting and friendship thing, since it was how I met my hubby - so I was really happy and excited to read the story and their development.

I really enjoy this story, and I completely agree with what you said at the end of the chapter. I hate people who abuse their animals. I own two dogs and three cats, and I could never hurt them. I love animals, and I believe animals have feelings just like humans do, and I think we should treat them with the respect and love they deserve.

Interesting first chapter

This story was so much more than I expected it to be. The lengths Sasuke went to change and become someone worthy of loving Sakura and gaining her trust was heartwarming. And Sakura got a character arc too! It was clever of you to use her canonical temper to become a more serious problem that she seeks help with. Her relationship with Gaara was so sweet and precious, and I love that you chose Hinata and Lee to be her other friends, two people typically looked over and rejected in their earlier canon arcs. I really adore how you wrote Ino: she still loves and misses Sakura, and will defend her, but is rightfully wary and still hurt by how their friendship first broke.
The way you turned Matsuri into a mentally unstable character and displayed it in her obsession with Gaara was sad but clever. It was completely unexpected but a good way to give Gaara more depth.
