This chapter was so great for so many reasons. Oh my word, so many kids are taking tests around me, and I'm struggling not to absolutely lose it. I love your writing so much; you have no idea. XD

Reason #1 to love this chapter: Danny absolutely losing his shit with the briefcase. Like, just yes. LET HIM FEEL SCREWED! MUHAHAHAHA! I LOVE YOU, DANNY, BUT YOUR PAIN NEVER FAILS TO AMUSE! (Which explains my reading list so much. Oh well.)

Reason #2: Slade not even caring at this point. I can almost feel the desperation rolling off of him. Like, "Please, Danny, for once, just listennnnnn, you little shittttt." (I'm sure Bruce feels this way a lot with his children.)

Reason #3: Danny immediately wanting to fuck with the Light. Gosh, I wish we could've seen that so bad. Like, the lack of restraint I can see him using. Yes. Just yes.

Reason #4: "I'm... I'm taking a shit!" - This needs no explanation.

Reason #5: "The forbidden corridor!" - YEAH, GET EM, DANNY. I HAVE NO FUCKING IDEA WHY IT'S THE FORBIDDEN CORRIDOR, BUT FUCK YES FOR BEING SO EXCITED TO GO TO IT. I WANT TO SEE IT SO BAD.

Reason #6: The really high palm scanner. Gosh, my 5'nothing ass would be so screwed trying to get into that hallway.

Reason #7: PSYCHE, DANNY, YOU THOUGHT IT'D BE EASY, BUT NOPE. YOU GET A BIG HELPING OF DISAPPOINTMENT. NOW PLEASE, ABSOLUTELY DESTROY EVERYTHING IN THE MOST BADASSERY WAY POSSIBLE. I'M SO EXCITED.

As always, your writing is spot on, and I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER! HECKIN YES! LOVE YA!
