I'm new to reading digimon fic's but as a first this was good so far.

Going to take a while to get used to it since the other category I read is my favorite and there just so different.

Like how you shown it, it seems so real and is pointing out one of the big problems boys and girls have when they grow up.

I was angry slightly when in canon Davis feelings were never addressed.

Also reminds me a bit about Tai and Sora since she seemed to be after Tai, before she got with Matt. Which I hate since Tai and Sora just seemed to click and everything was leading to them until Matt more or less came out of no where.

So good! Well written, obviously seriously thought out, and even pleasantly chilling. I much enjoyed reading this, as I take a very similar stance on male-female friendship. While I do believe it is possible, I also know from personal experience that when a guy and a girl become close as friends, the jump to more than that is often dangerously close, and if one of the two parties acts on it the results can be disastrous. Also a very very good way to introduce background for Epoch. Well done!

Very interesting subject. I always believe if your straight up with your feelings at the beginning, and feelings aren't returned, then we can't be friends if we can't be lovers

Davis is a better person that this characterization, deciding not be friends with Yolei because that'll end in cheating is not him. I can not see the Davis in the show deciding he'll only talk to a girl who'll belong to him completely and if they won't they aren't worth his time. They saved the world together and now they can't be friends because Yolei is going to accidentally fall into Davis' bed if they keep talking? That is insulting to Yolei too, she's not flaky like that. No one's saying Ken should be ok with Yolei having sleepovers with Davis and spending way more time with him, but lots of married people have friends of the other gender. If you can't be around any attractive person of the gender you prefer without cheating, there's something wrong with you. It was not inevitable that TK would fall in love with Kari, Ken and Kari were part of the same group and they are just friends, TK could have fallen in love with any of the other girls in class, or come out as gay. There's something about the characterizations that imply that no one has free will or independent thought.

A few things: if Kari knew Davis liked her and purposely hurt him by flirting with TK, then it's wrong of her. But it's way OOC to imagine Kari being malicious like that. Davis has a right to break off a friendship because it hurts too much that Kari can't return his feelings, but Kari equally had a right to not develop romantic feelings for Davis and want to be just friends. Neither was wrong, all un-requited love is just unfortunate.

I completely disagree that girls and boys can't be 'just friends'. They could both not be each other's type, both have someone else in mind, etc. Can bisexual people have friends at all? And how does Davis feel about Mimi, Sora, or the other digidestined girls? After all those adventures together, he can't be friends with any of them? Or, among the characters with no romantic interest in each other, Cody and Yolei can't be friends, or Mimi and Tai, Sora and Joe, etc?

Honestly I only ship Davis with Nat-chan, Kari always rubbed me in the wrong way, keep the hard work!

Such an emotional revelation with Davis, T.K. and Kari. It's always a good feeling to have someone who will accept you for who you are, either of whatever type of person they are in appearance, disability, personality, ect.
I'm very into this story. Great job!
