Fantastic! I’m glad I caught up to the fic. I must say your writing is very good. The detail you give in every scene is welcome and quite full. Your character development is outstanding and realistic. I feel like I’m reading about the growth of real people here.

That was one of the best versions of the Forest that I have read. Good stuff. I like the Hinata and Shikamaru dynamic a ton. I would love to see more of it.

Well I would say most of the theory you used for chakra was not correct for the series..also genes are more than your immediate family. Certain things can skip so the idea that her having water being impossible is wrong. Improbable...unlikely, doubtful even would be better.

I feel like you do have some talent for writing but this pace is just unbearable for me. Almost halfway through what claims to be 400k words and you have not even finished part of an arc. It feels like most of the dialogue is not really going anywhere but round in circles. Checked ahead and seems you are not even though the first part of exams. Hope you continue writing though as I did enjoy parts of this. Not trying to be mean Just give an honest appraisal. Don't worry I don't hate read so will be leaving from here. I have to say, I love your story. It is very hard to find a decently written Hinata. I have not found a very good NaruHina story like yours since Two Halves by DameWren or A Hyuuga's Honor by Elphana818 who both have written very strong Hinata development. Thank you for all the hard work in writing this amazing piece of fiction, please stay healthy and safe in these crazy virus ridden times. I look forward to finishing this story with you.

I’m sure this was hard to write but the quality of it shined through. This might be the best unpacking of Hiashi’s and Hinata’s relationship in any fic. Wonderful writing in this dialogue. You conveyed those emotions well and you really make the reader feel what they were feeling. When Hinata said, “I hate you”... that was real. Good stuff.

Interesting stuff. Would say that Sakura is still being a bit strange about going after Sasuke by making a deal with Hinata. Also feels like she would not be willing to do this even for help. Like Sakura only took what Kurenai said half way.

Pretty sure shadow clones are a secret technique. No one besides the leaf Shinobi should be able to use it. So Zabuza having it is pretty much impossible. It is to strong of an ability for him to know and use water clones. It really is the best ability in the story. Can use it to spy as well as fight.

Nice chapter. Only thing I would say bad about it was the pacing itself. Even that was not to bad Just felt a bit slow in its push. In exchange for how some of it was done could have moved a bit forward with plot and had a couple flash backs as I think Kurenai could have had some individual words to the students. Course for all I know that may very well have happened. Also odd Naruto was not more excited to see his jiji.

Overalll good work hopefully you are at a point where pace can start moving now. Seen lots of stories get caught up in exposition and even though a day has yet to pass several chapters have been made.

Good chapter. Probably harsh to go that route but team 7 is poison. Everyone is the problem in it. Yes Naruto is a dumbass but being constantly mean to him is not helping. Sasuke has no interest in anything but power. Sakura instead of deliberating problems multiplies them.

Wake up call is needed but not sure if that works. A bit to personal for Sasuke. Naruto already kind of does not trust her.

Good chapter. Always in a Naruto with some help. Ever since I first read Team 8 years ago I wondered if someone more nurturing would benefit Naruto. For all the people who are supposed to look after him no one even bothers on any emotional level. Kakashi is an utter failure in that area. Hiruzen tries but always excuses for Homage being busy same same Jiraya. Only real emotional support he gets is Iruka and he really does little to help him besides being nice to him. That is a really low Damn bar. Could say same stuff for Tsunade as well.

Maybe if someone took just a little interest in him and hinted at how to train properly he would do it. That was why team 8 was so good. Kurenai did not have to do a ton for him. Talk to him. Listen to him and help him understand some really basic stuff.

Instead he gets put on a poison team. Both neither like nor respect him for months. His teacher does nothing to guide him. Not saying he should train with him the way gai does with lee. Just give him advice for gods sake. One reason I always found him unlikable even though he acts like the kid was important to him.

I am looking forward to this. If you can catch even part of that team 8 magic you will have a great story on hand.

A little nitpick. I don't remember it Naruto's seal remains visible when Orochimaru's modifies it. I thought it still faded away as usual when he is not molding chakra.

Wow, you managed to fit a lot into the chapter. Not quite sure how close the preliminary fights will be to canon. You had the charcters reach several points in their development that occurred later in the series, so I am interested to see how they will play out. Glad to see that Shikamaru is starting to take things seriously.

It will also be interesting to see how Danzo plays into Orochimaru's schemes. There were some implied connections between them in the canon.

I enjoyed the cliffhanger with Gaara spying on Hinata. The question is who was he watching to begin with.
