i may not be as familiar with the resident evil timeline as some, but for the second task, what about the T-Abyss virus? if memory serves it caused aquatic based mutations which would be perfect for the task, and would only expand the abilities and benefits of the S-Virus.

i realize this fic is complete, and that the sequel may well be abandoned, but this does not preclude the possible revamping of this story in the future.

you do have a tendency to do that. personally i can see many other adaptations that can be made to the Sentinel Virus through the various strains umbrella has at its disposal.

with work? i can see a truly godlike evolutionary virus being created. and that isn't including the potential granted by adding elements of [Prototype]'s Blacklight and Redlight viruses into the mix.

i personally have more than a few ideas on that front, and may eventually work them into a fic of my own. but for right now it is all just speculation.

for those unfamiliar with the wider lore of Prototype? the Redlight virus is what Elizabeth Greene had. the Blacklight virus is a viral subspecies created by the original Alex J. Mercer while at Gentek. but it IS a seperate virus.

personally i have theorized a hybrid virus created by merging both the Mercer and Heller strains of the Blacklight virus with the Greene and Pariah Strains of the Redlight virus. i call it Darklight. its a concept i have been toying with for a while, i have it mostly ironed out.

and when hybridized with the various progenitor virus strains? we get what i have taken to calling the Omega-Virus. a virus that will either force humanity into an evolutionary ascension into godhood? or wipe out all life by consuming everything into a viral supercolony like a Necro-moon in Dead Space. a literal planet sized super-colony made entirely of viral tissue and material.

while i may have been tinkering with said ideas, i have yet to come up with a convincing plotline that uses them. so if anyone is interested in using said ideas, then feel free to drop me a PM. i say this so i can read said fic myself once it is posted.

Well, I gotta be honest. I wasn't exactly sure how this crossover will turn out. After all, you are combining a world of magic with a world of science, which is rather hard to do correctly.

In this case, you seemed to have integrated both universes quite nicely. Well done!

So far the story is very fun to read. All parties think they are doing what is right. I think it makes them more interesting because of that.
