![]() ![]() Great story! Never liked tim, so passive aggressive! |
![]() ![]() Love this! I really don't like McGee at all and i can 't even watch the show because they seem to write everything for him at Tony 's expense. I agree they have no chemistry although i think MW does with the others. Have to say i agree they treat him badly and it seems toxic to me. Don 't see a family at all. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm not really sure what to say about this series - except that I thoroughly enjoy it. It's different than your usual fare, in that there's more dialogue and less exposition. It's also faster paced, which makes sense since these are basically short stories. The first almost depressed me, the second made me both choke in anger and laugh hysterically. This one I just found all-around hilarious, although I realize that may not have been your intent. Still, all were very good stories. I'd love to see a DiNozzo and Abby version. Possibly even one with Vance. (Although I suspect the Vance version would entail a resignation from Tony. Can't really see those two ironing out their problems.) At any rate - as usual, very well done, and thank you for sharing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved this chapter and how Tony put Tim in his place. And how Tony let Tim know and for him to tell Ziva that he would not cover for either one of them ever again. I also liked how Tony pointed out the fact that Tim didn't even know where he lived and had to hack into NCIS to find his address. Now you have Tim thinking of showing up at Ziva's place and you know that can't go well. Ziva would only do so if she got something out of it and she will probably get Tim to spill his guts and tell her it was all Abby's idea to make up for when they last dated and she told him she had cheated on Him. Tim doesn't realize that that Ziva would use him just as Abby is doing. And we all know that the only reason Abby came up with this idea was so that she wouldn't feel guilty when she cheats on Tim agan and we all know that she will. The only person Abby is capable of being loyal to is Gibbs. But it does lead you to wonder just why Abby picked someone they both know and only members of Gibbs team. Why couldn't Tim have picked up a random stranger just as Abby had done. |
![]() ![]() Loved the story but who is next Ducky or Abby |
![]() ![]() ![]() You don't like Tim or Tony but only bash Tim. Would have Ben better if tim went into all the stuff to Tony did that was wrong illegal. And Criminal |
![]() ![]() All members of the NCIS team know the address of the place of each and the cell phone numbers, so for the sake of own staff security. Tim did not break into systems to discover Tony's address. I just do not understand if this fact was an author of error, after all anyone can make a mistake, or was intended to make the the character Tim without character. I would like to know the truth, why this information has generated nasty comments of a reviewer. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I had to laugh when I read Tim going through the list of possible candidates and what went through his head there. The thing I find fascinating (and a bit stupid) is that he's only considering members of the expanded team (because Ducky and Jimmy aren't really members of the team, I'm pretty sure the other teams need their services at times as well). Abby just said something about it having to be someone they know, not someone that close. There must be other agents/people around. And yes, I know it wouldn't fit in this fic otherwise ;). Now Tim actually showing up at Tony's actually pissed me off, although I shouldn't be surprised because I believe the way you've portrayed Tim's opinion of Tony here is pretty much how a lot of McGee fans' see Tony (not that they wouldn't be offended by how Tony fans see Tim at times). Anyway, I was afraid how you would play this and I have to admit, I love it. Your Tony isn't always the most vocal and direct towards his teammates plus he often lacks self confidence. Now here? I love how he puts Tim in his plays concerning them being (not) friends. Most of all though I love your reasons why Tony didn't report them after Dead Air (and now I have to check if you've ever written something about that episode, if not you totally should ;)). That was excellent. I'm happy you didn't let Tony fall for McGee's stupid attempt of seduction. That would have pretty much depressed me ;). |
![]() ![]() ![]() OMG, I can't help but feel a little bad for McGee - with emphasis on a little. Why I feel bad for him? Because despite everything it has to be embarrassing (which he doesn't deserve) and he's so stupidly in love with Abby and even if it had been years ago, being cheated on isn't fun. And the way she talks when she asks him if he hasn't ever cheated on someone makes me think she might be a repeat offender. So maybe she just wants him to cheat on her so she's got an excuse the next time around? And Tim wouldn't even be able to say anything. Why I only feel a little bad for him? Because he's going to go along with it and that's his own fault. As I said before, it seems like Abby doesn't value being faithful in a relationship as much as she should and if still enters a relationship with her again, he doesn't deserve much better. I have to admit I don't follow her logic about it having to be someone they know, but it makes it of course way more fun! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Boy did Tony pop Tim's balloon. I loved every moment of him putting Tim in his place. The best part to Tim's plans blowing up was the arrival of EJ. I think Tim should do the barista too, who knows maybe they can be a couple and leave Abby out in the cold. |
![]() ![]() I kind of knew what was going to happen here. McGee has never seen beyond the frat-boy exterior into who Tony really is. He shows up at Tony's place and even then makes judgements based on the faulty assumptions he's been operating with all along. Even after seeing how Tony lives he still clings to the idea that he is better as a human being than Tony and that the piano is a prop for seduction. What amazes me is that Tony pretty much isn't having any of it and very obviously NOT having any of it. I suspect the next day at work will be rather uncomfortable for McGee and if Tony wants to he can make it even more so by reporting Tim's hacking to HR. Getting a team member's address by hacking is a no-no and HR would have kittens about that. Putting Tim on notice as he did that he won't cover for him again is also good. Maybe Tim will stop doing stupid things ... oh wait. This is Tim McGee and not too much later he locked his partner out of the car when dogs were chasing them, the only thing that saved his partner's tush was the sun roof being open in the car(Government cars with sunroofs? Really NCIS?). Nice touch at the end with EJ showing up and letting herself in. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh McGee. His whole thinking is out the the door. LOL |
![]() ![]() ![]() I was very sad and disappointed with this chapter ... I guess I had expectations of something very different and original. In no time I believed that the story would be a love affair McNozzo, because this is not your style. I just did not expect more of the same ... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lol-ing so hard! I can't even really write a review or I'll get on the soapbox and we'll be here for ever. Suffice to say I'm looking forward to both Abby and Tim being made to look foolish, or really, having their foolishness brought to light. Can't wait for the next chapter. And like at least one other, as long as your on the theme an anti-Tabby fic would be great as well. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome story. I agree with you that I can't see Tony being in any relationship with people who treat him like crap on a daily basis. Of course, I can't see him still working with them either. Interesting the way Tim went through the list of people, sad how he decided Tony was the one. Yes, he is a sad and desperate person with anything to do with Abby or, for that matter, any other woman with any type of strong personality - like Ziva or his sister. Really enjoyed the dressing down that Tony gave him by providing instances where Tim used extremely bad judgement. Loved that you had EJ walk in when she did. Really enjoyed the series. You haven't mentioned it but are you considering doing a Tony, Abby? As usual a great read with great points. |
