Loving this story thus far. I recently started watching Mr. Robot and had a craving for fics with split personality or something. This fic is not exact that but it fullfills my needs. Your writing is wonderful too. Really excited to read more.

I love this chapter. The conversation between Dumbledore and Harry was really well written, and not knowing what Harry was thinking, what Tom was thinking, made it so much better than it would've been otherwise.

I was honestly expecting you to put Harry with Hermione's family. That would push Harry along his arc and would go on to show that he's beginning to think that muggles aren't evil. This has been hinted at a few times, but alas, it didn't happen.

I honestly don't know what to think of Harry living with Snape. Most fics that do it don't do it well, but then again, this isn't most fics, right!

I can't wait to see what happens next.

thinking how he don't even know how his parents look made me think whether his feelings will change after the mirror if raised. and then I wonder what would he see... would Tom from his mind appear? it is already prompted to appear Voldemort as harr tu wish, but does the souls inside would appear to like in every mirror? I wonder...

At that point I expected Harry to **EXPLODE** with a remark like
"i KNEW she was lying, she PROMISED! I should NEVER have said anything. SHE LIED!"
Followed by a sizeable actual explosion.

After all, this is the *exact* reason Harry gave to Pomfrey for not telling her, and *surely* Fletcher would have been briefed on the background leading up to his current interview with Harry?

The sheer mindboggling incompetence displayed by Poppy and Fletcher is very discouraging!

Harry Potter is an abused 8 year old. Then Voldemort’s horcrux wakes up.

This is different as Voldemort 2.0 is not kind. He’s a pure sociopath. This benefits Harry, in part, as he views Harry as his possession. This hurts Harry for the exact same reason. Regardless, the saner version of Voldemort becomes Harry’s friend and later a father figure.

The story covers from age 7, then years 1-3.
