Long time haven't seen this fic updated indeed, I was thinking maybe Jinbe would call Macro at the party
But since it is not yet revealed in the manga yet, so all is speculative I guess...

By the way, I got a One Piece fic I would like to recommend: Only towards the Future by Zenithofthestars, it is quite old actually, written back in 2013 so certain events might not be as up to dated. The premises is about the life of the Straw Hats if Luffy got killed at the final battle.
Interesting read, with some hint of sad.

I suspect that in the manga, this famous party was a lie from Jimbei t his new Nakamas to spare the truth about what is happened to his crew and Big Mom.

But I prefer to dream that they are alive...
