This would’ve made more sense and would actually work if you just said Roman hides his identity during his crimes. It’s not smart of Cinder to choose Roman just because it’s unexpected of him to be in Beacon. Emerald and Mercury aren’t expected to be the bad guys either and they look younger than Roman. Roman could’ve been in his 20s to 40s.

All the recent reviews say that this story is excellent, and im sure it's probably good.

But im sorry. The idea of Torchwick, a thirty or so year old guy, infiltrating a highschool/college hybrid as an 18 year old just reminds me too much of the "how do you do, fellow kids" meme, with the guy with the skateboard and i cant take it seriously lol.

This story man...it did a good number on me.
The way you wrote it was...I don't ever have words to describe how good it was. The love story between Ruby and Torchwick was amazing. I am kind of sad about what happened to the gang at the first time skip but I guess it was for the best(but not killing Jaune,it is unacceptable!). But all that aside,it was an amazing read,it is one of the best fanfictions I have ever read. One can only imagine what will happen in the future. This fic is awesome,maybe I'll read it again the future.

Congratulations on finishing your story. Too often good Rosewick stories, and good fanfiction in general don't get finished *cough* Still Dreaming *cough*. It's nice to see a good story finished for once, and a Rosewick story no less.

This story has 45 amazingly well written chapters, over 180,000 words that lead to this crazy adventure with love, angst, forgiveness and so much more! Most Rosewick fanfiction that I have read on this site are usually well written, where the characters aren't too OOC, the chemistry and interactions sound like how they would react in a canon fashion. You, Mr. Italian Torchwich, have taken things to a whole new level! You reveal the history of Roman's past involving Ruth, and the plot twist of who Neo really is, was truly astounding. Ruby's determination to change Roman was a difficult task, but oh man did she change Roman. Roman's struggles will not be forgotten. I feel happy to see someone shows such dedication. I really cannot wait for the other stories you have mentioned as well.

An amazing ending to an amazing story. Once you publish your first book I would love to know what it is called so I can buy a copy; If it is anything like the fanfictions I've seen from you then I would love to read it. The epilogue was just so perfect, we got a happy end and everything tied up nicely. Really love this story and the plot twists (especially ch22 to 32, they are my favorites). Although I was expecting more in the epilogue (like what happened in 25 years ago in details) , I'm happy to see this story ends in good ways. Really nice job! Hope to see more of your works in future.

Okay, first off this is not a review for just the first chapter, but for the entirety of the story. I can simply say this, if you stick with the story I can almost guarantee that you'll enjoy this story if you have the patience to read through without skipping parts of it at any point.

Numbered on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being awesome, I'd give this a solid 9.

Perfection is after all difficult to obtain, but if this had a full 10/10 I'd be shaking this author's hand.

Goddamn, I remember when I stumbled across this in January of 2016 and really disliked your writing style and nearly dropped this after one or two chapters, but I'm glad that I stuck around for the entire thing. Going back and reading through I can see your writing style getting better and better, and nearly two years later I can safely say that you're a proficient writer. I'm glad that this ended happily as it did, too. From the last few chapters I was expecting something much, much darker to happen, but I'm not disappointed. I am, however, suprised by the shout-out in the A/N, I didn't expect that at all. This was truly a wild ride, and I thank you for continuing with the writing, even with long hiatus' between some chapters.
