I know nothing about this fandom or the people but the story blurb intrigued me so I'm really glad I clicked on the story and read it, I love the story and the way all the little slices of time and perspectives all fit together. Nice work. *thumbs up* :)

Wow. No idea where 'soulmarks' come from, but I love how you use them here. Both (a) as prognosticative sigils of future portent - love that sort of stuff - but also (b) how there's an element of 'detective work' involved. Best shown in Mike's first paragraph, what he deduced from the text. Good stuff.

The last section packs a surprise punch too; nice to know that Maggie survived. Okay, I'll be a mere male for a moment and just comment that I thought/think that Maggie in that film was quite quite *gorgeous*, and very nice too, so I much prefer this instalment as a supplementary coda to the film.
