ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING and so lovely

I really like this story, it is beautiful.

AHHHH THAT WAS THE BEST THING I’VE READ IN A LONG TIME. I love Izumi so much, even though there is nearly no light shined on her in the series. You’ve not only done her justice, but you’ve enhanced her character and Zuko’s character exponentially. I loved everything about this story!

This is just amazing, and I love how you addressed each of the Fire Lords' history. But this also made me sad, because times change and this just showed how quickly time passes and- oh damn I'm crying, no tears, stop- life should be lived with love and compassion and to the fullest (which I am obviously not doing right now).

Wow. This is amazing and so beautifully written, I love it. You did an amazing job.

Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown. A person who has great responsibilities, such as a king, is constantly worried and therefore doesn't sleep soundly.

This was a wonderful story. Not only does it really describe how different generations responded to their newfound powers and how they utilized it. The progression and the consequences that followed afterward is honestly indescribable. Honestly, I can't describe it, but the best way to sum up how well you characterized the royals (people we don't really see much in the show), is when you showcased the portraits.

It's a nice way to start and wrap up the story-from the title all the way to the little banter at the end.

Speaking of which, I love Zuko's relationship with his daughter. :D

I AM CRYING THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL!I found it through the tumblr blog firelxrdizumi and now I am SOOOO Happy. I love how sweet it was and how Zuko was so afraid of becoming his father, and how baby Izumi preferred reading books to firebending! but was so afraid of disappointing her father.

Wow. That was amazing. You are really gifted. I cringed at Firelord Sozin and outright wanted to kick Firelord Ozai where it hurts.
Zuko was of course a pleasure to read about and I love how you portrayed him. Aww Izumi is such a cute nerd! Absolutely LOVED his fic.

This is such a great fanfic! The writing is so good and well-paced and the characterizations of all of the characters is just perfect. Personally, I headcanon Izumi as being a non bender but I really love how you've used firebending as a recurring plot point in all of the various fire lord's stories and their relationships with their parents so no complaints here! Thank you so much for writing this!
