Well why do I have a feeling you copied a lot from another story? Because it's almost dentical

it is a fairly good story but damn if you aing dragging your heels, it has become rather tedious, dare i say even for you given that there hasnt been an update for nearly 2 years.
it is also more of an romance with adventure and fantasy meaning the romance comes first and is a centerpoint to the story, given that you dont even rate it romance at all is rather odd

Is this story dead? Please continue or let someone else do it

although i gotta say that Helena/Eragon/Arya as an equal trio sounds awesome (it's good to dream at least) :P

So I do know that Dragon Riders are more or less immortal and therefore age isn’t too big a concern, but I can’t help but envision Helena in her early to mid twenties and Eragon as a fifteen year old. Whether they’re immortal or not, reciprocation on Helena’s part is a bit strange, at least while the war is going on. I’d understand if it was much later down the road, but she still thinks as a human doesn’t she? And humans are generally averse to relationships with age gaps of 7 or so years.

Please more, it has been such a long time since I have read a story suchbas this!

Please update or let someone else adopt. It would a shame to let such a magnificent story die out...

I know that this has been done for a long time and you are unlikely to see this but I really hate the way you have Helena portrayed. You make her sound so freaking weak in this chapter. How is she even thinking of taking on the king when she is worse than an untrained farm boy at using a sword, won't even try to master the Ancient Language which the King is a master at, and knows that she won't be able to do Gaian magic as well as before. What is the point of her being there is she is going to be weaker than Eragon by the end of the second book.

She will absolutely useless to the story if she will never be as good with a sword or even as good with magic than him. She is weaker than even Arya in this story even though Helena has gone through a war and has a dragon on her side. She doesn't seem to provide anything than to have a different girl for Eragon to fall in love with.

I hope I am wrong but it was seriously upsetting me with how weak and useless she is. I actually thought she was going to be better than what you have written for the ending of this chapter. At least she should have been better than an untrained farmboy at using the sword by now.
