Well, I can say daemons and psykers against an empire that spent ten thousand years honing the killing of daemons psykers isn't a good idea. Eventually, the Imperium's sheer numbers combined with its incredible experience in fighting daemons and psykers and its numerous technologies specialized for such WILL outweigh even a united Chaos invasion. The only question is how much territory the Imperium will have to sacrifice to other enemies after the war until it shrinks to a point from which it can reliably defend, rebuild, and expand from. Though, since such a cataclysmic war will likely destroy or cripple most of the other threats, this likely isn't a problem.

That, and the Emperor could rebirth himself in the Warp as a god, unleashing a warp storm throughout the segmentum solar, and use his godly powers within that storm to basically ruin Chaos's everything therein. Which is probably what will happen in canon with the End Times (i.e. make the Segmentum Solar a sort of living heaven for humanity and then sally out into a Chaos-dominated galaxy).

This was really fantastic. It fell into some traps near the beginning that I think are pretty typical of 40k fics, but by the Rings of Artek-Ker you'd hit your stride, and by the end I think it was some of the best 40k fanfiction writing I've read.

You came up with a lot of really creative concepts and tied them together with each other and with canon events. There were some canon elements that I think you used better than Black Library. Fateweaver's appearance in the Crimson King always annoyed me because it seemed pointless and didn't make much sense, but the way you wove that into your story justified it so well.

I'll definitely recommend this fic to any fans of 40k. Great work!

The dream of the Illuminated Empire was was a beautiful one, one that I too fell for; but in the end the warp is the warp.

This was such an amazing story, and I am glad I had the chance to read it, thank you.

I feel like the guy was just sitting in the bathroom, and felt the gaze of Fulgrim's artifact, then looked up, frowned, and flipped them off.

And finally, here I am. It took me a while to read this story, both because of RL stuff and because I wanted to enjoy iy slowly. Well, what can I say that hasn't already been said? This story is truly magnificent. And let me tell you, the ending doesn't suck. Thanks for writing!

I very much enjoyed this story; I am indeed sad to see it end. However, everything else you write is of excellent quality, so I won’t be lacking for that, at least.

In the end though, that galaxy is a big place, and no matter what, you will not be missed...(but this story will be!)...
