wow, this story is amazing.
I love the way your third-person view point is still somewhat following Lance's view point through thaughts and stuff.

This is a very well-written story. It wasn't very long, but it hit all the beats it needed to and I feel very satisfied with the ending. The pacing was awesome! Nothing felt rushed or too slow, and I don't remember anything written in here that didn't have a purpose. Either for character depth or for information, everything had a point.

I love how at the end when Allura asked Keith if she should still have the alliance, Keith said yes. Because if he had said no, he would've been doing pretty much the same thing as the rebel group. (Judging a whole group of people based on your personal past experiences) so that showed great character in Keith that he could see past the crap he's gone through to still give them a fair chance.

The only thing I think could've been better written is Raznek. From what I read in chaper one, I thought he didn't trust Keith, even after the inspection, but he was going to leave him alone because of the queen's orders. Because of that, I was suprised and a little thrown off when he seemed so interested in helping rescue him later. I thought he would've been thinking along the lines of 'good riddence'. Maybe he felt bad about earlier, but if he was, it would've been nice to have it addressed directly. Maybe as a conversation between him and the queen before she sent him scouting for Keith, idk.

Really great story though! Definitely one of the best shorter stories I've read, especially in the Voltron fandom. It''s easy to tell you put hard work into this, and it definitely payed off. Please don't stop writing, because you've got a really large dose of talent.

This was a really interesting story. My heart was in my throat for a lot of it though, poor Keith.

Ookay, honestly I just need to say that this is amazing. Keith is 100% the best character in Voltron (in my opinion) and he needs so much attention... especially after the reveal that he is part Galra. There are soo many places the show could go with that (and honestly, I'd have loved to see an episode where he dealt with prejudice because of that), but even if they don't, the fandom can... and you've certainly done a brilliant job here. My heart hurts now! Seriously, give that boy hugs!

AAAAHHHHHHHH MY POOR BABY KEEF NUUUUUU HE DIDN'T DESERVE IT! AND FUCK DEM SAMORIANS WTFFFFFF! Ugh you played at my heart strings with this one. Even though it was short, it was well written and I lived that everyone's personalities and dialogue was in tact. Like, everyone was spot on. Even though angst kills me, I enjoyed it and really enjoyed the emotions and healing experiences you had conveyed in this story. I hope I read more stuff like this from you in the future!

This is a really interesting start to the story! I feel so bad for Keith though ugh I can't believe how that went down. I'm looking forward to seeing how this all progresses, but I know I'm probably going to be mad the whole time. Also, I find it interesting that it's in Lance's POV, but I can see why it works. Can't wait for more!
