I absolutely love the idea of Danny’s wand core being Thestral hair, due to the fact that he’s half dead, and only those who have witnessed death can see Thestrals

This story is great so far! I can’t wait to see what happens next!

I really like the rewrite so far! It really goes to show how much better you are at writing. Tbh I kind of remember cringing slightly at some parts of your first fic when I read it the first time, though this is so much better. Good job!

The only thing I still think is a little weird is Danny’s Ghost form looking so casual, though that might just be because I see little plot point or relavance in it. Also kind of wondering why none of the House ghosts are questioning this (like... I know I get never met him but didn’t they at least expect someone older? Or do alll the ghosts suddenly know of his age change, or just not care because they live forever?)

Anyway good chapter, looking forward to the next one

It felt a little forced how Dumbledore was acting when he first learned of Danny Phantom, but I think that’s just me and how I read the words. I did like that cautious side. Can’t wait to read more!

Okay okay so like um idk how I'm only just now finding this story but like...what the fuck...

THIS FIC IS AMAZING!

Dude, do you seriously understand how good this is? How in depth and thoughtful and detailed and ahhhiarugksjrgks wow what the fuck? This fic is every writer's goal! I'm literally sitting here like "Damnnn son I wanna be like this!" cuz um WOW it's so good.

I was hesitant on Dumbledore at first too cuz I was like, "Isn't he usually chill with magical creatures? What gives?" and then when he and Danny finally met it all sorta clicked and now I get why you wrote him the way you did. I mean, it makes sense. He's in charge of the school and therefore needs to be in charge of the student's safety. He should know everyone who's living there. And so after meeting Danny and seeing who this "Phantom" creature is, Dumbledore's chill now because he can tell that the students of his school are not in any danger. So nice writing!

I also like that you didn't make them BFF's right off the bat. I know you mentioned in your AN that you were trying to avoid that, and I definitely think you're doing well. My only suggestion is that it would be nice to see a bit more positive interaction with Slytherins. If you're trying to go for the angle that not ALL Slytherins are bad, just a sprinkle more positivity on that end will really hammer that point in. Right now Danny kinda hates his own house and you write that "Well these two girls aren't that bad" but we never really SEE any proof of that. I get it, it's still super early in the fic, but it's just something to think about.

All in all holy shit this is amazing. Deffs one of the best in the DP/HP section. Keep the good work up!
