Sorry but I am gonna be all in for White Knight as I can see Yennefer of Vengeberg on her and that she'll be able to help Geralt I meant Jaune with most of his mental problems.

I wonder who would be Triss Merigold and Yennefer of Vengeberg to Jaune Arc? I kinda know Ruby would be like Shanti from the first Witcher game(I think?). Man, I hope you continue writing this, it's so great and enjoyable and there's not that much Witcher fanfics that starts with Jaune.

Really interesting plot here man! I wasn’t all for it at first because it seemed like just an OP Jaune getting all the girls with nothing really going for it, but you’ve proven me wrong! The fight scenes are exciting and well-written, by far the best thing in this fanfic. The relationships with the characters are decently executed, the emotions with Jaune, Pyrhha, Weiss and Yang were delved into pretty well, i could really imagine how they felt like at times. That said tho, for me, the dialogue felt awkward at times and some characters felt flatter/ more flat than the rest. Which i feel is because of the fact that a lot of the girls seem unrealistic for liking Jaune/falling in love immediately so hopefully that gets delved deeper into if you ever pick this up again! I really loved the scene with Ozpin and the chess game. It was really interesting and suspenseful. One of my favorite depictions of Ozpin ever definitely. Your AN is absolutely right tho! Some parts were definitely flatter than others. The internal struggle with Jaune was definitely good, it does seem like he’s turning into a bit of a Gary Sue with how he doesn’t seem to be making any mistakes so far. Anyways, hope you’re doing fine and hope you continue to write! It’s a pretty good story to tell.

This is looking more and more like a harem with every chapter, or a really messed up love... pentagon. I really like how this is turning out, either way. I’ve also got this sneaking suspicion Ozpin is behind a lot of this, all of his former lovers conveniently in the same year. So much of his past seemingly collected and deposited right in front of him. Damn manipulative wizards.

I really wonder how he will handle the whole Witcher side of things, or if he will even want to continue taking contracts now that he has something of a home.

Is there going to be Lancaster ?

I say go for a three way pairing, if nothing else. Because, to me, it’s obvious that Jaune and Weiss were lovers seeing how hopeful she gets when he starts remembering her along with the hurt she felt when he didn’t recognize her along with when she went to the halls alone and sat on the floor thinking about him. It would be a shame if they didn’t get back together.

Along with Yang too since she was his first girlfriend and someone also very important to the Witcher.

In my opinion, Blake would be the best able to adapt to having a boyfriend/husband/mate/partner/whatever who walks The Path. She seems the sort of person to easily click with that if she had motivation to. The others all seem the sort it would eventually grate on them. By eventually, I mean a few weeks or months.

On the otherhand, Weiss seems very understanding and supportivr in this story and Yang, too. Ruby still is so childish and adorable Lancaster feels creepy, though. And the reason I personally (usually, not always) dislike Arkos is because it is boring. She is a rather flat, bland character and he is an everyman. Not that it is their fault. RoosterTeeth did a lot to develop RWBY but neglected JNPR.

Jaune wouldn’t need to subdue Ozpin. Either the Axii or Somne (target sleeps) sign would work. Cheapest cheating cheat hax powers.

Aard would not help with a fall. It has no recoil. However, he COULD fire it at himself instead of the ground. No need, though. Witcher universe magic has been consistently portrayed as being “x effect”. As in ignoring all other factors. Like Quen could absorb the force of Superman punching him in the face purely because it works against kinetic energy. Not “y amount of energy” but just “Quen blocks kinetic energy” period. Compared to most high fantasy settings, the witcher universe’s magic can be said to be extremely powerful in that way.

Wow Jaques made a stupid mistake in that quote thing. You do NOT try to order a witcher around. It doesn’t work and any attempt to enforce it will just get you mutilated or killed or mind-controlled. If it isn’t in the contract, tough shit.

This fic is going perfectly so far. I think you are capturing the story how you intended.

Good beginning. Signs are not voice-activated nor runic magic of any kind, though. A simple handsign, willpower, and comprehension plus drawing from magic is all that is needed.
