i definitely shudder at that ending. but damn cinder can play dead so well, only emerald understand she is just feeling under the weather.

I take it you wrote this before volume 6 since Mercury reason for doing Cinder was in that volume anyway I loved the dynamic between him and Junior its pretty funny and hopefully they will have more scenes together I could see Junior be like a father figure to course regarding the white gang Blake would be involved I should have know since she does these sorts of things in the first two volumes anyway great chapter man.

This story was AMAZING and currently slapping myself for not reading this sooner. I couldn't stop reading once I started. Loved it from start to finish.

Oh that hurt so much. How the hell do you make characters that break past every bit of disconnection from the story and make me sob to the point of getting a headache over them! The story was sooo good but it hurt me sooo bad. :(

I don't see that compromise working long term. Probably would have just given Yang her huntress licence there and then and given her Team RWBY to oversee their field experience.

I like this one. The villain characters are fun. If you can look past the obvious insanity of giving them any kind of authority in the first place. I mean, something modeled along the lines of Suicide Squad with bombs in their necks and forced to do the VSS bidding might have been easier to swallow.

Humour is on point. Stakes were damn sure higher than usual. Surprised there was not more of RWBY and VSPR butting heads. Maybe without Yang being around to kick RWBY out of her office. Or even be forced into working together. Just strikes me as comedy gold mine.

Whole damn city is run by secret organisations. The Wizard of Beacon, the VSS, Croocked council members. I think maybe you should have doen a little more exploration on who the VSS is here. Not everyone has read your Juane centred tale yet. I'm sure they get overview of what is going on but nods like Oobleck without background could be causing some to scratch their heads.

Why do civilians and common criminals bother pointing guns at huntresses? Don't they know they are bulletproof? Get something bigger. Those rifles the Atlas soldiers had looked to pack a punch. Took a beowolf down in a single hit.

I got to say, I hope it isn't all happy smiles and back to normal when I turn the page for the final chapter. I mean, there has basically been a coup. VSPR and the councils own protective service near murdering each other. You mentioned the White Fang will lose all support worldwide yet I'd picture more dire consequences. This is the third major White Fang attack in just over a year. I think the Kingdoms would be on the verge of declaring Menagerie the next Afghanistan and opening detention centres for 'illegal faunus migrants'.

Mercury. Unusual pick for the hero of the hour. Really thought Yang would be at the heart of every action beat.

I like it though. Good use of all the team members and allowing us to keep track of who is where. Even taking Junior and Miltia out of the game early. Junior is always fun but there were probably too many perspectives to follow in the chaos as it was.

Team RWBY may actually be useful for the for the first time in this tale.

Taking the Fang voluntarily seems like a desperate last resort. Only to be taken if your death was a forgone conclusion in any case. I guess it is four on one, but I would have thought he would at least attempt an escape.

Not entirely sure if this should make him more or less difficult for the team to take down but I'm damn sure he'll be more intimidating.

Her life with VSPR is going to be a fun one.

Really underline what meddlers Team RWBY are. Fully expect them to invite themselves alone.

I guess the turnaround is the regular cops see VSPR as the meddlers. Being shown up by a squad of criminals. What a slap in the face.

I don't know I've ever seen a tale where Emerald catches a break. I do hope her apartment is refrigerated.

Blake refusing to apologise seems oddly catty. Like she wants to pick a fight for no good reason. How hard is it to say, "sorry I never gave you a heads up." She can hold on to her belief Yang to rejoin Beacon without retraining herself. That argument has merit.

I would honestly say there is no Team RWBY anymore. Yang has outgrown it and not realised so yet. She has a good thing going with the VSPR.

I thought this chapter may confirm this hunch but it was Fang haze. Next chapter will be interesting.
