Also, I'd loooove to see Harry get some competent back-up. Far too often someone swoops in and fixes it all for him. Far less often does someone actually give him tools, training, and let him make his own damn mistakes. |
| Guest 907 chapter 9 . 1/8/2019 Chapter 9 is finally here! Yeah, I completely understand how much writers' block sucks. It's killing me right now. Anyways, good chapter. The scenes with Edward were hilarious, the conversation between Olivier and Roy was... surprisingly homey. Is that the scene you had trouble with? I haven't read or watch FMA, so I don't have the best reference, but Olivier putting her feet on the table and writing in a notebook seems kind of odd from everything I've seen in this story. I also imagine it would be very difficult to think of what such a complacent society could be offered that they'd accept. Anyways, Snape's take on the situation was amusing, especially the bit about how everyone thinks Amestris is on their side. Same with how done Olivier is with the whole situation. All in all, a short and possibly even fillery chapter, but I love character interaction, so I don't really mind. It sounds like you've pushed past the worst of it, so have fun with the rest. |

| Mondtanz chapter 8 . 10/25/2018 I just reread the whole story and can't wait for the next chapter. This one and "Colours of the World" are some of my absolute favourites. I can't wait to see what's going to happen next. As for Roy's an Olivier's relationship, I'm curious, but I don't know if the development prior to this story would matter here. I'd like to read about it, though. Thanks for sharing. |
