I get that you lost interest in the story because the two don’t mix very well but you could have easily remedied it by cutting out the most of Danny Phantom and just keeping the main elements and making the story same but different. Maybe he was a hidden son of Kronos, the oldest in fact, but was hidden away by their mom in a realm that time doesn’t move and was taken out by clockwork who could be a titan of prophecy or time and raised him as a son in the actual Tartarus instead of the ghost zone. See just working the material a little differently causes them to fit much better together.
