On another note, love the entire story! I hope Jaune and Ruby finally get together soon, although I don't see that happening for atleast 3 chapters... I hope that Weiss, Blake and Yang get to live in the future, though it would fit the melancholic bitter sweet ending to have them fade away at the end of the story... I'm sad now...

I don't mean to pressure or anything, I'm sure life has been pretty hectic so I'm sure I speak for most of us when I say that we eagerly await the next update but totally understand and respect the fact that life gets in the way. Keep doing what you're doing and know that you are loved too.

Huh, no Grimm AU. I was at first trying to imagine team RWBY but it's literally just Ruby, still fighting Grimm. Would have been kind of trippy, too.

So Summer... might still be alive? Just This Tai was an asshole and had her committed? Kind of hope Ruby can manage to reconnect with her, somehow.

This is a fantastic story. The way you portray Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang is wonderful. I myself go through the issues Ruby is facing with DID. I never really had a way of explaining to family or friends what it was like until I read this. I hope you continue this story, and keep making it into the wonderful piece it is. 10/10

Oh geez, this story became heavier all of a sudden. I was really worried that Yang would have pushed the button for a moment there given the buildup.

My friend recommended this fic to me, and it definitely did not disappoint.

I'm an avid fan of psychology, sociology and deep introspective study of characters in media. In many of my stories, I put my main characters through the struggles of mental disorders because I like to portray them the best way I can. So this portrayal of DID was right up my alley - you take some liberties, but they enhance rather than detract from the illness and help portray the scattered, tortured mind of those afflicted. It very nicely portrays the points of trauma for Ruby and how they logically created Ruby's alters.

Yang, Blake and Weiss altogether are standout because of what they represent. You make them feel alive and real, which makes the emotional investment in their characters all the more heartbreaking as their existences becomes the cost for Ruby's self-growth. I truly choked up in the scenes of Yang and Weiss wanting to convince themselves that they are real and that they fear 'death'.

Very rarely do I truly wish for some BS ending where somehow Yang, Blake and Weiss magically get bodies of their own and everyone lives happily ever after. Seriously, if THAT is what you made me want, you have done an excellent job.

The other aspects of this story are also good. Ruby's and Jaune's romance is good, though I can't really say I'm invested in it. That's probably because I'm not much for romance, but from an objective point of few, it ticks the romance boxes correctly and there isn't much wrong with it. They're dorks, they're awkward, they like each other.

The other characters like Ren and Nora are great, I like how big of a role they actually play as compared to many other fics. Nora's bitterness towards Pyrrha was a welcome surprise and quite believable to me, hell, it seems she is angrier at Pyrrha than Jaune is, which makes sense. It's just a tiny detail but I feel it gave Nora more layers than I see most fics do with her.

If I may offer some criticisms, I have seen a tendency to explain things in a very flat way, I remember a point where you basically explain that Ren was super protective of Jaune. I think most people will know by how Ren acts and reacts to Jaune in that scene that it conveys this information, and so outright stating it was jarring and pulled me out of the story a bit. You have done this all over your story, but this is my most memorable example. My suggestion: try to explain less to the reader and instead convey it through the characters, sometimes explanations are necessary, but in some of the ones I've read here, they aren't.

I'd also double-check your formatting, as sometimes I'll catch lines split from one another when they are intended to be in the same line.

Otherwise, this is a great fic and one of the best portrayals I've seen on mental disorders. Keep up the good work, as this is going right into one of my current favorites!

I love the detail of Weiss enjoying the 'Pizza' it feels like at some point soon they will all come to their own conclusions and just bond with Jaune ohh Im so excited!

All these personalities, theyre all written so well and so distinctive I can tell who speaks simply from the tone of words themselves.

This. whole chapter certainly emphesized that trait.

Didnt expect Blake to do that honestly, thrilled to see what happens next!

Enjoyable chapter I love thr play between Nora and Ren. Especially Ren his proffession is spot on. (As well as his problem with it.)
