Man I am getting depressed reading this now, I swear every fic handles the fall of beacon so much better than the show.
Which is good and bad cus i actually feel Something when going through it but the feeling is usually sadness.

I’m not the biggest fan of Pyrrha’s character in general in any fic or show but the fall is basically always her worst and saddest point (hardly surprising since it’s usually her death) but damn when she is built upon well like in this I feel actually attached so it’s effect is so much worse

I can see this messing with her plans greatly cus the only other illusionist makes something everyone can see so can’t make a student look like a psychopath like canon.

I have to say the Pyrrha development surprised me.
I fully expected her to use the pen either through jealousy, thinking Oz can help or both
I’m so used to her in fics, when she does not get with Jaune (which I always prefer to happen) to either be forgotten or be torn with Jaune and the maiden issue causing her to kinda be cold to him, like it’s his fault she never makes a move or did not fall in love so damn quickly.

Also I see you are approaching the merge now since at this point you watched volume 6. Honestly its a bad idea In show, I mean what kind of god grants you an immortality that basically ensures you will never be you ever again since a merge would, in essence, kill both hosts and make a new one.
Just does not seem logical with the gods involved.

I’m surprised to see Jaune give up that he knows who they are. I mean surely him making them believe he is ignorant of their identity would work against them down the line as a surprise he already knew them.
Also makes any move against them in the school now intentional instead of being thought of as him just being a student who happened to mess something up for them.

Jaune can aura project weapons (kinda) which seem to work through aura, stop momentum from hits, steal aura, has 2 weapons, 1 of which turns into more weapons.
Damn he kinda powerful

Man I love this Ozpin, actually feels like a grey character who manipulates with his words to make t ur up think you are doing what’s best for you and others when in fact it’s for his own ends.

Those Faunus traits were...not what I expected.
I thought maybe they got a feather tail and just made a quick one out of bird feather and stuff.

It’s kind of funny that out of all team RWBY and JNPR, Ruby seems almost non existent in this story so far.
She had like one plot point with the spar thing and a bit after then she has barely been A part of the story and just a occasional background voice.
