The chapter was interesting, but the omake now that was gold, especially with the music in the background.

I swear, if there isn't AT LEAST an omake where Taylor gets "Row Row Fight The Power" to majorly kick Endbringer/Sion/Abaddon with Spiral Power (possibly up to and including the bigger-than-hundreds-of-galaxies form), I am going to be highly disappointed in all the people who managed to get song suggestions in before the window closed

A decent Fic, but I’d categorize it as a Crossover with the Miscellaneous tag. Probably not going to follow as you are literally giving Taylor Dues Ex Machina as a power and with it never giving her the same powers again you can’t give her a stable power set to drive the plot.

Also, what would happen if she listened to a cover or remix or reimagining of a song. Like if she listened to the original robotic version of “Still Alive”, and then NateWantsToBattle’s rock cover. Or the original “Before my body is dry”, and Scylit’s very different reimagining.
If this story is going to have a dark turn, I suggest the Dishonored franchise for songs, “Drunken Whaler” being a particularly creepy one.
I’d also recommend the Persona games just because they have good music in general, and because I want to see Taylor become Aigis from P3 while blasting to “Heartful Cry”

I’m wondering if you’ll do some slightly older songs

Ex. Micheal Jackson’s Thriller could have her creating or summoning monsters like zombies, The Beatles Yellow Submarine could have some wonky things go on, etc.

Armsmaster is a bit of a jerk but was done well. love Assault. Emma loses it in cannon so yea, great story

"I'd like you to get in contact with the Heberts to apologize as a representative of Shadow Stalker's civilian identity" - so how did Piggot know about the Heberts, if she just got the report, and if they didn't really know who she was bullying? Also, did Armsmaster know the name, or was he just standing there being all confused?

First off, I just need to say that I had some trouble posting a review. It says that I already posted for this chapter? Either my memory is completely shot, or I reviewed an earlier edition of this chapter before you did the rewrite. Either way, below are some of my thoughts.

Hmm, nice to see that Armsmaster has been trying to pull the stick out of his ass, and Piggot even seemed to acknowledge some culpability in regards to Medley. Or at the least acknowledged that there were reasons for how she's treating the girl.

The call with Lisa and the "Brute" comment... Careful Taylor, if you don't watch it you'll get hired to knock over a bank. Which would be hilariously ironic considering the nature of her first outing as a cape.

And Emma? Yes, the girl needs therapy. But it always seems like she gets off lightly for torture and attempted murder, cause yeah, that totally could have happened with The Locker. Septic shock isn't something to underestimate. Ah well, at least Taylor won't have to worry so much about getting attacked in school. Well, no more than the other kids at least. Winslow does have a pretty bad rep, and I can totally imagine getting shanked is a legitimate worry.

Lastly. Have you considered using Elizabeth Bathory from Fate/Grand Order for one of Taylor's cosmetic changes? I wouldn't even know what to use as a song, but her aesthetics could be interesting. I mean, she has a microphone built into her spear and her Noble Phantasm is screaming so loud into it that she devastates her opponents with the sound wave.

Let's hope Assault calling Halbeard out sticks enough that he doesn't go breaking the Endbringer Truce like he did in canon...

Hmm, Taylor is gonna have to be careful with Lisa... Lisa might have helped her, and probably generally still does. But that doesn't mean anything if Coil gives her an order, or if Lisa lets her arrogance give Taylor some questionable advice regarding what is and isn't acceptable independent behavior.
