The combination of the melancholic nature of a world post magic and wonder revitalized with the return of the King makes this the perfect blend of Tolkien-esque Middle Earth with Arthurian fairy tale set in Remnant.

You gots a fave and follow from me.

This is an awesome story so far and it would be most unfortunate if it were to be abandoned. I hope to see an update soon and thanks for sharing!

Ok, this looks interesting. Ozpin as WoL is interesting. Jaune as Dragoon(and potentialy Dk/PAL/ other FF14 classes) is somethgi I never knew I wanted untill I read this. Will any other FF14 NPCs make apperence? Like Fray or Estinien?

So, one thing I was a bit confused about is this place Jaune meets with his ancestors. Does he move there physically, or is it just some kind of illsuion/dream space-thing? What Ozpin said at the end would suggest former, but I'm not sure. Also, seeing as Aymeric took Jaune to Ishgard to train (or at least this is how I understood it), can other people see/interact with Jaune's ancestors? Or was it just some weried space-time magic BS that happened?

Lastly, if Aymeryc is one of Jaune's ancestors, does it mean that whole Ishgardian royal family are Jaune ancestors too? Or was it his mother that was related to Jaune?

Anyway, good story so far, and I'm looking forward to more (please, don't abadon this story, it was a while since I got so invested in fanfic).

Regardless of how long this took to get updated, I still very much appreciate and enjoy every new chapter you post of this.

Memento And Mori. Destiny 2 fan? I love how the story is going so far. Gotta say though, I really only ship Jaune with Pyrrha honestly. But for a story as great as this, this is a small thing to overlook. One does have to wonder...will this Chosen King suffer the same fate as Noctis? Also, Ozpin Izunia? I feel a darkness spreading. Unless he's a good guy. Then disregard all that nonsense. Looking forward to the next chapter.

My only critique/question is this, I know the Gae Bólg is important and all, but Crowley have him his cloak and guns so I kinda figured all other weapons would be second place to the revolvers he was gifted. After all Crowley did say they helps a certain "Magic" to them...

I am absolutely in love with this as a Final Fantasy fan. There are sooooo many possibilities in this story. Forgive my exuberance but I do have a few questions though. For one specifically on the topic of primals/summons as they are intrinsic in the lore of both FF 14 and 15. Will they make an appearance in some way? Also companions wise we've seen Aymeric and Ishgard but what about other territories like Uldah and characters like Y'shtola? Will they make appearances in different forms like Uldah being hidden away in Vacuo or Y'shtola being the ancestor of say Blake? Additionally will we be seeing more than just grimm as the main enemy archetype considering you did mention the dragonsong war and nidhogg and mentioned the fact that other races/creatures are in hiding. Can't wait to see what you have in store for the next chapter.

You're 2 expansion behind. We are in Shadowbringer now. Joke aside good story so far. I like the mix between ff14 and ff15 reference. keep up the good work.
