My experience with PJO accumulates to 20 minutes of the first movie and various fan fictions that, oddly enough, happen to either take place before the first book or in non-canon territory. That said, this shit got REALLY interesting out of nowhere and I'm strapped in for the ride. I'm prepared to fuck up my first true experience with the story and I couldn't give less of a shit because this shit right here is FLAMES!

I felt like you nailed that "Godly intellect" vibe that's always seen in books/movies/etc. And I can only imagine how difficult it must be to write a character that's supposed to be all knowing, while we're out here derping around and just trying to survive lmao.

She explains that she views it as a corruption of the World because it's twisting reality in ways that aren't natural. Nothing negative despite my use of the word corruption (I'm paraphrasing), just pointing out that she doesn't see the mystic arts as "normal". I liked it, cause I like to view magic (as it's usually depicted) as kind of like hacking a computer or a program.

In a world like in PJO I can totally see them viewing magecraft as strange or even kinda wrong.

I think how you write these characters has a lot of potential to be excellent, so keep working hard I guess.
