Katsuki not paying attention in class? Le gasp! That discovery really did do a number on him didn’t it? Poor guy. And then the tight friendship the two have almost immediately clues Izuku in, the last person he’d want to talk to. Talk about rough.

Izuku… All Might barely won that last fight, and is basically a broken man now. His power is fading and you think you, with your piddly limit of 5% of One For All without fuel will be able to help against the Symbol of Evil? That is some serious teenage invincibility syndrome.

I wonder, do a lot of hero schools use the Greek alphabet to denote their training spaces? I can see why American ones would, since we already do that for a bit of the military letter code and then there’s the whole Greek Life thing… but how pervasive is it? Not really important I just got to wondering why of all things it’s that.

I like how Tenya just ran with Tokoyami’s over the top edginess and moved the class along. It was seemless and made me laugh.

Fair point, and one that is (as far as I know) never addressed in canon. Why isn’t a student’s mobility in responding to incidents addressed more? Besides battle training and rescue training, that really should be the next highest priority. The best ability is availability after all.

Gotta love seeing the character growth of Ochaco and the others. It’s fair and far in between that you see someone take time to showcase how other students outside Izuku or their own OCs improve. It’s one of the things I’ve always enjoyed about Torchbearer.

Do you think Ochaco using her Quirk on a large object, like say a space shuttle, would make egress from and reentry to Earth easier? It doesn’t get rid of friction of course, but perhaps a slower trip either way without gravity dragging the craft down would eliminate or lessen the need for so much anti-heat armor?

How numerous do you think Quirk-related repair companies are for infrastructure in the BNHA world and/or how much is government run? From little things like Hardened fingertips gouging holes up the side of a building to a whole ward being flattened like Kamino, such incidents would run the gamut every day wouldn’t they?

Did you establish whether or not Sero’s tape naturally disintegrated? It may not be property damage, but if the public has to go around and remove his tape after he’s swung by it’d still be a hassle.

Perhaps it had something to do with the momentary gap between main plot and omake these past few updates, but I totally forgot that Midoriya's Quirk really WOULD get in the way of things when he's trying to save someone. The development of Flashfire was handled organically with an unmistakably 'MHA' flavor to the progression of this chapter, and I'm intrigued to see where Flashfire comes in handy over the next few arcs. Of course, the summer training camp will probably be an absolutely amazing time for Midoriya to shine, given his Quirk, but there's honestly no telling whether Torchbearer Izuku is gonna wind up better or worse-off against Muscular in this timeline - if he even faces him! Its interesting how this single new move can kinda shake things up long-term, so... well-played, friend.

Ok, I’m loving the Flashfire idea, and I guess it reminds me of Fire Force too. Hhhmm, maybe Kaminari can learn to internalize his output? Amp up his electrons to think faster or to perceive things quicker? Or to get electro-boosted movement too.

I couldn’t help but wonder could Izuku do something similar to Tenya and Tensei’s Recipro Burst by releasing burst or streams of fire from his legs or arms, or maybe his back? Although I guess because it would basically be the same technique that would be why you wouldn’t want to use it, but could he if you wanted him to or does his quirk not work like that?

Six weeks huh, I wonder if Horikoshi originally meant for more time between the other events or just decide to skip over a month of regular school that has no plot. I think some people assume this is when the OVA’s happened during these weeks, maybe even the first movie too. I can’t remember if you said if you plan on doing the movies or at least aspects of them are canon? Like Melissa and David Shield are in this world but the first movie isn’t going to happen in any way.

Anyways, nice chapter but I was surprised All Might didn’t ask about what happened with Stain and Native, especially after Izuku mentioning he needed to be faster. Other than that I like it.

Did I see another shot fired at the manga? First it was the "Going Beyond 100and now the "New Quirks"? XD I do remember you talking about your personal thoughts on that reveal, so I'm not surprised at your jab...but I do find it amusing lol

Personally, I thought it made sense. There are alot of things that are unexplored with OFA after all.

All Might thought that it was a basic culmination of the physical power stockpiled from the predecessors and passed down to the next user. Personally, I think that the Stockpile Quirk of OFA is a bit broader than he initially believed.

After all, if it was just a culmination of physical power, why are the vestiges from the previous users be within there?

Theres also the fact that OFA is able to supercharge a Quirk. But rather than thinking of OFA being separate, like a generator, it seems to merge with the users Quirk and enhances it (at least thats my take on it). After all, that tends to be the sctick of OFA lol

I've always wondered to myself, "if a person who had a Quirk gave OFA away and used the small portion they had, would they lose their initial Quirk as well? Or eould they just lose the power the power that gives their Quirk that extra oomph?" Unfortunately, the only one who survived the encounter with AFO long enough to get an answer (as far as we know)...didn't have his own Quirk before OFA (though he can still transform himself into muscle form in small bursts).

a really inative technic it honestly reminds me of sanji from one piece you know the whole legs on fire thing plus sanjis air step i wonder if after the whole quirk strengthening thing that comes with the camp and special move creation if he will be able to use it to pseudo fly/

That's an interesting technique for Izuku. Next step is generating enough fire to hover in the air, like Endeavor, or even fly like the main character from Fire Force. Also, I love how each character is training and becoming better. Great job!

Mmm personally i think canon development of OfA makes compelte sense and was foreshadowed, i mean why else would the renants of the previous users be ther eif not for that? Also maybe it only manifested like that becaus ecanon Izuku is quirkless, or maybe it even has somethign to do with 2 quirkless users in sucesion.

I would love it if OfA still has suprises for this fic, not like in canon but its own adaptation to Izuku's own quirk, like some aspects of the previous quirks are incorporated into special moves (flame whip?) or maybe 1 or 2 abilities are better absorbed, like floating...if we ever ge tmroe details, i am kind of angry the manga hasn't even delved more into that, i get we haven't seen much of Izuku since that reveal but event he latest chapter haven't shown ANYTHING new about it.
