Good story
Thehappyvampire chapter 13 . 8/6/2019
Sakura and Touko are probably planning on measures if Shirou and Rin decides to cause trouble. While Rin won't be a problem for them, it is Shirou they should properly prepare for. This is guy with the ability to compete with Servants. Even Touko would have trouble with that.

So, it would be smart to plan for a scenario that Shirou becomes their enemy.

thewookie1 chapter 12 . 8/1/2019
After reading this story up to this point I am on the fence on rather to continue. Sakura's personality has changed radically from Chp 1 to Chp 11. Up until the corgi, she was a believably hesitant magus who was unsure of how her sister would react to meeting her again. Thus she did her due diligence in research, pumped Shirou for info, and formulated a plan on how to meet Rin on her terms in case she had become like her father. After her bounty hunting escapade however she completely went sociopathic in her behavior. Now she's cocky, sadistic, and desiring to torture her sister for no apparent reason. Obviously, after listening to Rin's tirade with Luvia one would need to have a heart of stone not to be the least moved and instead Sakura enjoyed Rin's emotional tearing.

I will say that Shirou's personality shift does make a tad more sense as he's reacting to Sakura who within a month went from a potential friend to an enemy. Meanwhile he's protecting his girlfriend too. (In theory, if this was a failed version of the Artoria is contracted by Rin ending where Shirou, and possibly Rin, were "emotionally tied" with Artoria. His defensiveness would even make further sense due to having lost Saber already)

A few other minor gripes:
1. Why doesn't Shirou just use Rule Breaker to fix his halo problem?
2. Why does Rin and Shirou get sold short on their achievements?
3. Where's Gray?
4. Shouldn't some NPs work on vampires regardless? Just because they reject their history doesn't mean you'd become safe from their effects. (One can't just reject guns being dangerous then tank through machine gun fire because they reject their abilities)

The story is well written though and is solid at world building but seems somewhat scatterbrained at times and has some major character flaws that appear almost out of nowhere.
Guest chapter 13 . 8/1/2019
I have to disagree with you on the NP's against vampire concept, at least when involving Shirou. While it's true that the mass produced NP's used against Jester in F/SF didn't work because of the DA's denial of human history, when Shirou traces he bring forth the whole history of the original wielder using that weapon, so the weapons have the same conceptual weight they would have if it was the original HS wielding them.

If it was anyone else the NP's wouldn't work but Shirou is once again the exception to the rule.

And then there are the Holy NP's like Durandal, which would likely work differently as well.
NoblesseOblige chapter 13 . 8/1/2019
So, what I got from this chapter is...

Sakura: Come, we'll have your dicks checked.

Shirou: My dick is big enough.

Sakura: My dick's also big, and my master's bigger.

Rin: Certainly, I can already sense the presence of a big dick.

MOMENTS LATER

Sakura: We're going to confront some big dicks.

Touko: Are your dicks big enough?

Rin: They are big, yes.

Touko: What do you want in exchange for your dicks?

Rin: An oportunity to have a civilised conversation with my estranged sister in which we would share opinions and maybe our personal feelings like at least somewhat mature people.

Touko and Sakura: ... (heh)

Touko: Then, show me the size of your dicks.

MOMENTS LATER

Touko: I see. Your dicks may be respectable after all.

Rin: We've had dick size competitions in the past, and we've won.

Shirou: My dick is kind of really big, though.

Touko: No, I know exactly the size of your dick, and it is impotent.

Shirou: I see.

I don't think I missed anything too important.

I usually like the starting premises of your stories, even if the "canonicallly named OCs" are hard to swallow more often than not; the fact is that you dabble in situations ignored by most other authors and that alone makes your fics supremely interesting at first glance. Then there is the fact that you're no slouch when it comes to worldbuilding, and so the places you design feel sufficiently alive. I don't really know how to criticize your prose, but I don't feel uncomfortable reading it so I guess it's alright. And then... and then it happens that you get submerged into endlessly tedious dick waving contests involving undying grudges, unmeasurable prides and unreasonable duties; and the story starts screaming in agony for the lack of substance to maintain it. While I'm not opposed to depictions of toxic and abusive relationships in fiction, I tolerate them so long as I can feel they serve a higher purpose. Here, though, it doesn't feel like the asymmetric displays of power serve any purpose other than satisfying petty grudges or just being, you know, gratuitous shows of abuse. Hopefully I'm wrong, and this chapter is helping to setup some future events that will move the story towards actual character development.

Being completely blunt, the interpersonal relationships of your characters and the potential for drama are the only selling points of your fic at this point. The starting premise and interesting world serve as excellents hooks, but as chapters go on the only element that stands out is the one that makes us ask ourselves "are these two characters actually going to have an honest conversation between them now?" That bussiness with Reines, whatever the thing is with the incoming Dead Apostle, Sakura's past, Luvia's relationship with everybody else, and who knows what else I'm forgetting, are elements comparatively too weak at this moment to hold reader interest.

... it occurs to me I'm using way too flowery language just to say I want the characters to sit down and talk. I guess I should be more straightforward: it doesn't matter if they end up killing each other as a result, all this pointless dick waving is annoying and should be done with ASAP.

Other than that, I question why you have Shirou act this overly defensive. FSN canon establishes that he has no real pride, and has no need or impulse to prove anything to anybody, so it's strange to see him so eager in his search of approval for the size of his dick in this chapter, and of course it feels out of character.
ServantEmiya chapter 1 . 8/1/2019
I am sorry to tell you that the ancestors are wrong, Shirou Emiya, according to Nasu, has participated in apostolic fighters using noble ghosts together with ciel where his versions as Archer Emiya win as a reward and for friendship with Ciel of the agency of burial the Holy Savannah Martin carrying archer, this is because Shirou Emiya has a marble of innate reality that serves as a forge for his trace on '' because the spell process happens within Unlimited Blade Works '' and then brought to reality even if the young shirou did not have a mature marble reality as an archer or the Unlimited Blade Works road shirou still had an immature reality that allowed their spell even if they did not know they had a marble reality within them. Therefore, the weapons created by Shirou are different from the Np that ordinary humans possess due to the influence of their marble of reality as in the case of the apostles with a marble of reality.
raider.corporate chapter 13 . 8/1/2019
I'll have to comment that Dead Apostles can only deny Noble Phantasms made by man(like one of Muramasa's Swords) or made for man by the gods(stuff like Harpe and Aegis) if they are wielded by a human.

In that case Divine Weapons or Weapons made by the Fae might be safe.

Then there's stuff like Tsubame Gaeshi which isn't an NP(it's a skill on par with one), so it could be used.
bigman22 chapter 13 . 8/1/2019
so if noble phantasms don't work but what about ones that deal with the supernatural? say, something like the Belmont clans Vampire Killer, if it was a historical weapon meant to kill the "unliving", would it work against dead apostles?

NoNameReviewer chapter 13 . 8/1/2019
Huh there's a re write let's see where this one goes, going in it blind to the latest chap I was actually surprised by it that I didn't know what was going on. You're right though Shirou's NPs are very much nulled but then again that is like saying that that is the only weapons in UBW, Black Keys used by excecutors or various mystic codes used by Magi that Archer hunted along with reinforement, the skills he could get from his normal weapons and any skill and technique he got from Archer, Shirou ain't out of the battle yet. He lost his biggest guns bit not the skills he got from Archer which is his most powerful assest, hell Kiritsugu hunted them too with guns and explosives.

Hope to see where the rewrite goes
Guest chapter 12 . 7/30/2019
Nice chapter!
About the notes, Touko surely stomps Aoko in terms technique, theory and overall magecraft. But Aoko surpass Touko in terms of combat, this because of rotation speed of her magic circuits, that are able to make even mediocre (and simple) spells coming out with more power that should, and guess this was the main reason that Aoko was chosen over Touko (something about genius being born from time and time, while Aoko magic circuits being far more rare).
Aoko is pretty much the same that Shirou, one the few people able to match a Servant, while being mediocre as magus.
