A pity Danny betrayed them. I really like a new ruler of Earth. Iron fist and total mind reading for any possible sin is a must for prosperity. Only this way can people unite and become a space Empire that rules over universe and eradicates all xeno scum.

Oh, this is all going to go so wrong. Like, it'd be nice if it didn't, but this is Worm, and those with authority do not give it up easily, especially on Earth Bet.

As I haven't read Karen Buckeridge's books, the full implications of establishment are not clear to me. I do think that Janesha's personality has been substantially altered to match Taylor's conception of what a goddess should be like. If so, Janesha's family is likely to be furious about the changes.

Okay, this a little creepy to me, but at the same time, Janesha and Taylor haven't really abused their powers or done anything that most good people wouldn't do. People still have free will and can do what they want; it's just that that consequences of being a jerk and/or evil are much solidly enforced.

In the end, I'm willing to take a 'wait and see' approach.
