Nooooooo so close to an Arkos pairing.

In all seriousness, you’ve done it again - this time managing to bring something refreshing to RWBY in the horror themes throughout the story. I was glad to see the Leviathan powers don’t make this an insta win for Jaune and I enjoyed seeing how you fit these characters into pseudo-America .

I finally got around to finishing this during the holiday weekend. Glad I did, your AU stories are always really good.

Ok, finished this one and am now ready to give my review. All in all, interesting story. It handles a lot of different aspects to characters and some twists and turns that I didn't see coming. That is the end of the spoiler free portion of the review.

I have to say, the Ruby portion of this story was probably the best aspect. Her struggle and grapple with humanity is amazing and her fear of being alone and abandoned is powerful and very well put together. I did NOT see Yang's death coming... okay, my friends who have read the story before me said people would die so I kinda did but... damn, was not prepared. The other parts of this story fell a little flat at times, but that's probably because it's not a genre I'm used to reading.

The lighthouse felt... random. It feels like there should have been more to it, though there really isnt a way for you to have accomplished that. I understand it was used to show that boundary between the worlds can shift between being strong and weak at times but... the body didn't feel necessary to me. It felt like something that was given great detail and important and then just dropped. I understand what it was used for but it felt like it was maybe a little over focused on.

All in all the story was... ok. Well written and structured with some really good character moments and individual character arcs but not my favourite of your works. Worth a read? Hell yeah, but it took me a couple more sessions than normal to read through because I wasn't as enthralled as I usually was. Again, likely because it's not a genre type I'm used to.

I'm sad to say I think this is your last completed story I haven't read... which means I am now going to have to read and stay up to date like everybody else... T_T Naw! I'll just reread Not This Time, Fate for the millionth time... yeah, that seems like a solid idea.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to reading more of your stuff in the future.
Sincerely SardonicEffigy

This is truly a pathetic attempt at literature. Instead, try reading SWBY!

WOW! Fanfiction author "I Luvgrace420" just uploaded a new story and it is SOOO good, forget about this trash heap and head on over to his new story titled "SWBY: The Chronicles of Remnant" It was a crazy RWBY and naruto cross over that is to DIE for!

Leave a review too!..

This story is pretty shite, check out "The Doctor of Konohagakure" by "I Luvgrace420" on fanfiction.

Now THAT is an author who knows how to write, drop him a review too but don't hate
hirshja chapter 53 . 2/7
I can tell you, having read this for the first time in a total of like 5 sittings, the semi-horror at the beginning set the tension and carried throughout. I don’t know if that would’ve happened if I had read the chapters as they came out, but it definitely worked.

Is it bad that I like this version of Adam 100 times more than the Cannon version?
DinosaurKin chapter 53 . 2/2
It's late at night so this review may not be totally legible, but I just want to share my thoughts. I started reading as it was being released but stopped after a few chapters so that I could focus on real life stuff and Coeur's other works. As of the time I'm posting this, the story has been finished for a few months now. I picked it up again on a whim yesterday, and read the whole thing in just a weekend. I don't know how to articulate this properly, but I just want to say this is one of the most influential fan works I've read. I am just 19, so I don't have a whole lot of real real life experience, yet, but stories about death, grief, and losing loved ones fill me with dread I can't describe. This story is making me contemplate my relationships with people, how to properly remember my loved ones who are no longer here, and how I want to live my life. I have read all but one of Coeur's stories, that one being Forged Destiny, and I can say with confidence that this is my favorite of his stories. That being said, I doubt I will be rereading this one again anytime soon. I am embarrassed by the emotional turmoil I am in, and do not wish to experience this again for long time. P.S. Coeur, if you see this, I just want you to know your stories have been a foundation of my teenage years and your stories bring me more joy that the show ever did. Thank you for everything.

We don't have evacuation plans, just earthquake, tornado, and fire drills, maybe other weather drills in different regions. No point to practice for something that won't happen.

I'm curious if it is the sunlight itself that weakens the Grimm, because that would make Alaska incredibly safe during the summer, but absolute hell in the winter.
leeaustin3512 chapter 53 . 1/31
been binging your work recently and I have to say each and every one is a wonderful work of art that just leaves me stunned and at a loss of words. Thank you for the absolutely amazing stories.
