To be fair, I preferred MGE before the soft reboots. Those 'fixes' were sort of handwaved into the thing to mask the underlying horror of a gentle genocide. As MGE stood before, it was still a world where monsters were out to destroy humanity, but in this case they didn't realize they were.
I also enjoyed pondering upon what might happen if the monsters did win, and the horrors they would face upon realizing what their victory truly resulted in. Sure, there would be no more war with humans and everyone would be in 'love', but then the questions of "what next?" would begin to crop up. If there are no more humans to provide males, then there would be a finite number of incubi for an ever-increasing number of mamono.
Soon new wars for the limited resources would occur, likely dividing upon species/racial lines. Even then they would still likely be doomed. Either to a dystopian and stagnant future, where incubi are rationed, births are regulated, and totally shattering the dream of a 'free love/sex' society as they once envisioned. Or to a total apocalypse. Any incubi lost in the resulting conflicts would exacerbate the problem, and if the incubi aren't immune to the ravages of time, then all sentient life is destined for extinction.
Fun thought experiments which I have only occasionally seen touched on. Yes the retcons make the whole setting more in line with the sexy funtime theme, but prior to the reboots, there was so much more potential for conflict and thus engaging stories.
Anyway, rambling done. I look forward to seeing more of this entertaining tale!

That soft reboot of MGE still wouldn’t work and somehow almost remained the same. I was aware that there are “civilised” mamono that doesn’t rape any men until one person would strike their fancy and wild mamono rape men inter their own instincts as monsters.

The monsters actions in Lescatie still hasn’t changed after all; Kenkou Cross would’ve think about a third party faction that isn’t in favor of the Order or the Demon Realm and would make a better Kingdom that it shall remained its’ human image with Mamono people can flourish alongside with humans.

Also when I read about the New Generation of Incubus will be born just before the Human Race will be outbred. I was thinking that Humanity is close to near extinction. It doesn’t change fact the Demon Lord needs to re-change the Metaphysics of the World again after gaining tons of mana.

I can see why you made an alternative universe to fit in the bloodborne universe.

I know we had this conversation like a year ago, how we discussed that the world won’t be black and white. I’m hoping you want make the order the good guy since their organization is corrupted and oppressive their people and the hunter think every monster must be eliminated.

I’m hoping more of a gray area where both side are the same side of a coin. Or how the hunter has flashbacks about why the powder keg hunters forsaken their oaths.

Finally, does the hunter aware herself is a threat to humanity? She carries the old ones blood, if one drop of blood is taken, it’ll caused another Yharnam incident.

Still, the nihilistic view of fits BLOODBORNE because humanity was doomed before the hunters came into play. Her conclusions fit the mind of a hunter, a person fighting being beyond human understanding and endless pain of many deaths. All because humanity wanted things humans ought not to use.

I am so used that mamono are this infectious plague that (outside of the worlds version of Japan) corrupts anything it touches, so the changes are a bit bizarre to me as well. After all, in the original mamono illustrations with descriptions it was rape and unwilling corruption all the time, and demonic ones where so bad you really needed to kill on sight.

So they went and made some soft reboots, big whoopie flipping do. Seems like Kenkou Cross had a change a heart or he decided to choose the easy way out and make the Monster Girls a bit better. Oh well, I don't give a rat's ass, we all know the theme of Monster Girl Encyclopedia. The slow yet erotic genocide of humanity because both the Chief God and the Demon Lord can't play nice with each other. I mean, both sides aren't exactly perfect that's for damn sure. You got the Extremist Faction for Mamono and you've got the Order for Humanity.

Hell, I got an OC on Deviantart who's an Everlasting Dragon who got done with Yharnam and willed himself and the Workshop out of the Gothic City and into the World of MGE. If I ever feel like it, I'll probably write a fanfic on my OC going around and causing destruction to attract the Gods' attention just so he can kill them since most of them thought it good to side with the Demon Lord.

MGQ is more hardcore than MGE now. At least the girls there don't just rely on dubious non-con like they would in soft-reboot MGE. MGQ is higher chance of death, including gratuitous vore, and no is almost never an accepted answer.

I wasn't aware of soft reboots to the series. Kenkou Cross always acted like there was nothing wrong with the monster girls destroying humanity, and took delight in what they did because it was his fetish. Humanity lost before the reboot, and were only getting their dying gasps. The monster girls were pure horror masked under sexuality.

The pre-reboot is more interesting IMO. Now Monster girl Encyclopedia is being written closer to Monstergirl Quest, and it doesn't have the same feeling of desperation. It's more vanilla, generic monstergirls for filthy casuals. The 1d4chan page on MGE has a decent summary of what it was before the reboot.

I kinda already knew that there would be conflicts with the canon, and honestly I like how you deviate from the canon. I mean I already knew that it was mamono-biased world where monsters will save you from oppression. Anyway, let us see how this AU turns out.

Looking forward to how you handle what both sides being terrible means for the huntress, especially since it looks like there’s no easy solution besides the extinction of either mamano or humans.
