Personally I love the concept of nightshade and I’m really excited to see Danny and Sam interact. But holy hell is danny fucked up, not only does talon think of Nightwing as a traitor and a liar (since he doesn’t believe he’s Dick Grayson) but Danny thinks dick abandoned him to rot in that orphanage, hell he probably thinks dick doesn’t care for him, but honestly I can understand that feeling because before dick actually found Danny we had no mention of either him searching for Danny or there being a grave for him, at least something to know that Danny still exists in the real world.
But either way I’m excited about how the story will continue!

This is so cute omg. It's such a dramatic reunion and I dig it.

I noticed some other reviewers mentioning this ain't a Danny Phantom/Teen Titans crossover, and let me tell ya, after some time of being in the phandom I have discovered many people just go, "Fuck canon!" So while not including Danny in his canonical characterization might ruffle some feathers, I'd say go with it, if that's your story. It's fun and super entertaining, and I'm keen to see how this plays out.

I gotta point out though: Dick seems to toss all caution to the wind when it comes to his bro, like not wearing his mask and not restraining Talon at all, even when the latter's tried to kill him a number of times before. Stabbed him, too! His behavior's a tad worrisome haha, like Dick, pls... he's an assassin trained from when he'd been a tiny child. Caution advised D:

Ooh I didn't realize Talon's real name was supposed to be kept under wraps, since he just gave it out willy nilly a couple chapters ago to Tigress. Maybe there could've been a bit more mentioning that it was meant to be a secret? Then we'd feel the impact of Talon's perceived betrayal more.

Also... TUCKER. I had a suspicion since the first time you dropped the phrase "red beret", but I hadn't been certain. Dude I'm looking forward to see how he plays a role in this!

I really like the instances where Danny shows his age and his thoughts, even just a little. Favorite line: "So basically it causes superpowers?" Talon said. "Cool." Favorite scene: the interaction between Kaldur and Talon in the Pacific Ocean. Gut feeling tells me they would be able to work well together.

I do have a question though. Is Talon allowed to just go around threatening people when he's not ordered to? I'd have thought he would be under strict control and rules. Also, the ending, like mm yes I am super glad the next button exists on this chapter.

Sorry about that. :'D But I wanted to add on that so far I've been enjoying the way you've weaved the trope into these episodes, especially in this chapter and the previous one; it's felt natural in a way where many other fics have seemed a bit contrived.

Also I am super excited about Dick finally figuring out the truth about Talon, like jeez the build-up hurts aaaaaaaaaaaa

The action and dialogue's been fun! I think there were a couple of parts that were confusing though, like the Cape Canaveral portion, especially where there seemed to be jumps between characters' POVs.

For example, we were following Talon's perspective for a bit, until about "Talon rolled his eyes, they just made it too easy." The next paragraph turned to Nightwing, so I figured we'd only see what Talon would be able to see from where he's at, i.e. "Nightwing's eyes widened and he tackled Artemis..." But it followed up with Dick's thoughts about Talon, "It was the kid again ... noticing?" and it's not really something Talon would know.

I'm not sure if you intended it that way but personally for me, it got a bit hard to follow and I had to reread the lines a number of times to get a full picture of what's going on.

I love the consistency in Dick's point of view, and the way you describe each action so clearly and concisely! The words are simple, but I can imagine each scene as if I were watching a show in my mind, and that's always something I appreciate in a story. :D Love that last line too. Ouch.

There are moments that snapped me out of reading for a bit, like a couple of missing/misused words, e.g. "unreadble" instead of "unreadable", but it's not really anything a spellcheck can't fix, I think! Reading the meaning of the Romani in [] was a bit tough too, since it broke me out of the dialogue's flow. Maybe consider italicising it after the entire sentence itself?

Still, can't wait to see what happens hehe thanks for jumping straight into the action and conflict

That was really good. I'm a big sap; I felt my eyes getting a little teary. It's nice to see things go /right/ for once, even if only for this moment...

Honestly, I was kind of hoping they would be at odds and all that. I was expecting more resistance, anger, maybe a fight. He just reverted back to a scared kid. Also, i have to agree with the other guy. It doesn't really feel like a Danny Phantom crossover, well, without the Phantom. I do still enjoy it either way. You're good on grammar, I don't see anything that needs improving, and the chapter length is good as well. Keep up the good work!
