Zuko impersonating himself as a distraction was great.

Nice to see Zuko, Iroh, and the earthbenders all getting to be badass like they deserve.

Ha, I was wondering if they were going to the prison rig first. It's a logical place to start if he doesn't want to try to find Aang early (which wouldn't have worked anyway).

I love that you made music night, a perpetual joke, into a serious and important bit of character development and change in interpersonal relations.

Of course Iroh thought Zuko was crazy! And the Dancing Dragon is a great way to prove something weird has happened to him.

Of course Zuko dramatically declared that he was going to become a rebel, losing over half of his crew. That's so in-character! At least they were able to split without violence.

I liked the way this went. There was some quick setup, then Zuko quickly went through disbelief to shocked acceptance before deciding to change things. Those were all important to happen, but now that hey're done we can get to the meat of the story. Of course, there was also some great outsider perspective on how he's changed that made this chapter delightful in its own right and not just setup.

Just found your story and I LOVE IT! I've read AUs about Zuko turning rebellious earlier but I don't think I've read a time travel one yet and I've been really missing it. So thank you for that! I am glad Zuko has Iroh on his side and doesn't have to shoulder knowledge of the future alone. That would've turned pretty angsty, I believe. I didn't see the betrayal of shen coming. I thought zuko finally found a friend but apparently not. I mean, I can understand Shen but still...
I reeeeally hope, Zuko is going to meet Hakoda during his rebellion. That would be just amazing!

The chapter ending made sense given the circumstances but yikes for Zuko. Hope things go alright. Looking forward to reading more of this
