Awesome! As a standalone or a one-shot it's fantastic! The characters feel true to their original material, the Goliath acted like a Goliath would in this situation, and the combat was very well written. The only problem I have with this is that it didn't showcase the Goliath doing the game's namesake. Evolving. Then again that probably would've drawn the story into multiple chapters as the team struggles to deal with it getting stronger... Eh, it's still great!

I was kinda hoping/fearing that RWBY would all get killed or that one of them would by the end of the fight, mostly because i felt like Ruby was being hubristic by delaying calling Ozpin and insisting that they were the only ones who could stop the Goliath. I mean its a completely new type of enemy they should have been more cautious before engaging.
