Dude, you need to finish this. I just have to say that I hate it when people don't have endings o their stories. So, unless there is actually a reason why you stopped at a cliffhanger, get up off your ass and start writing. I'm sorry I'm rude, but I've dealt with a lot of writers who just stopped. This is why I like Slytherins and Hufflepuffs, especially a combination of the two. They're ambitious enough to want to finish it and hardworking enough to be able to do so.
Everyone needs a productive hobby, and writing can both cool the mind and strike a spark of creativity that will burn a blaze of light on a moonlit night. If not for me, for you. Finish this.

I completely understand, completely. My dad's biological father (never met him) died before I was born from lymphoma. My Grandma (dad's mum) had a rare form of skin cancer, although she hasn't died from it. My dad's stepfather, the best grandad who I loved beyond belief, died of bowel cancer. Watching him die was the worst thing I've ever seen. I'll never forget it. Then on my mums side, my great grandfather (grandma's father) died from pancreatic cancer (he was an awful person - do not feel bad for him. I wish he could have survived to rot in jail for what he did to my mum and aunt). My grandma had pre-cancerous cells in her cervix, then breast cancer and now bowel cancer. Her sister died from esophageal cancer. My grandad (mum's dad) had prostate cancer. I hate cancer beyond belief.

Because this is brilliant and lovely and when Clarisse died and nearly bawled my eyes out but also my baby cousin (we're a close cousin), was diagnosed with cancer and lots of my family have been affected by cancer too, I'm not telling you this as a competition or like, as a like, piling all my worries onto you, but more as a, you are not alone sorta thing, and that your story has helped greatly with dealing with stuff. I hope you do continue, however I understand if you can't, personal life should always be prioritised and stuff
Anyway, thank you so much for writing!

I just found this today and it's been a few months since your last update, but I can honestly say this is one of the best stories I've ever read. A lot of people write to cope and I wouldn't expect you to continue if it hurts. That being said, if you do find the time and enthusiasm to continue this, please do. Cancer is one of those horrors that everyone knows about but few people understand. It's painful and awful and horribly, overwhelmingly present in every population.

You have a busy life so I understand if you can't finish this, just wanted you to know that I appreciate what you've written and I hope you're able to make peace with the death you've experienced. I know it never completely heals. And it always hurts.

I'm not sure where I was going with all of this. Sorry for the long response. You're an amazing writer. Hope all is well.

Hi! Happy to see an update. I am also looking forward to seeing how Sirius handles this as newly crowned parent. I really really like the way you have had Sirius take a role in Harry's life. I don't feel like he is too "parent-y" in most stories. I am sorry to hear about your troubles with familial losses and worries of cancer. Hi, I love your stories and over the years this is my 3rd time re reading it. I see that you have sort of recently updated and that great! I'm sorry that it is tied to such sadness and hardship, I recently had a friend die of breast cancer, and this story has really helped, and the writing is beautiful.
