That was such a strong ending. And I love how their relationship ended. Faye continues to develop in this story and I love that. I really hate how most stories keep her the same as in the show before she regained her memories. She changed in that moment and grew up a little. Yes, she would still be sarcastic, feisty, and a bit childish about things but she would grow. And this fic shows that. With little things like changing her outfit (which I totally believe she would do after having a sense of self again since I always thoughts that outfit was a representation of what she thought of herself before) and paying her debts. And I love how you managed to fill in pieces of Spike that fits so well with his growth as well. For once, I believe him to feel free and actually alive. You explain his tie to the past and newfound revel in the present. It's a wonderful portrayal of both characters.

whoaaaa omg this story is so beautiful and underappreciated and i wanna lick it clean of all its sharp, gooey goodiness and amazing, weirdly poetic writing and perfect characterization - the actions and the dialogue everything is spot-on, i could picture them all in my head so vividly - while also grounded in the actual backstory and not like floating-in-a-vacuum-unattached-to-canon kind of blissfully oblivious fiction

I agree to the reviewers before me, that this fic is one of those rare gems that keeps you reading all night. This fic had sweet moments, and thrilling adventures that it almost felt like watching a second series for the anime. Like I have said before, you know these characters very well, and developed them further in your story with some bit of angst and laughs along the way. I have some favourite chapters in this fic, like favourite episodes in its series, from the Lobsters cooking, to Faye getting a Wildcat, and another handful of moments in between. This is just awesome!

My goodness, I have to say this is a really strong chapter!
I am happy to find a S/F fic that really builds from the series and this chapter really dove into the missing moments we needed to see. You wrote Spike and Faye in character in here, and so far, this chapter really striked me as a character developing chapter for both of them. Spike opening up his sad story with Julia and Vicious, and Faye's return with how her past and her experience temporarily leaving the Bebop, is a memorable conversation in this fic so far! This is one of those moments that could've added more to the anime series, making this fic, a really good read as a sequel. This is an entertaining one!
