This was a pretty intense story,even if Kakashi was acting like a huge jerk. Really liked it, it was very well written

I love how Gai talks in Capital Letters! I can actually hear him speak them too! The interaction between him and Kakashi is so funny!...I think you just inspired me!

Kurenai is incapitated, Gai is white-knuckled, but Neji can still go check on his cousin, right beside Kurenai and presumably right in front of the killer intent.

Brilliantly interesting, especially the way the chunins are picked on.

Damn I really want to read more of this, but it seems that it's been abandoned or on hiatus, like a few of your other fics. A shame, because your writing is very good and your characters spot-on with amazing introspection. I don't often find writers like you in the Naruto fandom, but when I do, it's like finding a hidden gem. That might sound corny, but to me it's completely true. I absolutely -love- to read your writing. I hope you someday continue and finish your unfinished stories, but I do understand how life can get in the way.

Oh! It seems that I have stumbled upon a gem! This story looks very, very interesting, and while it is a slight discouragement that it has not been updated since its publication in July, I should certainly hope that you continue writing it! Your writing is definitely very good. You know, I've sometimes thought "What if Oro brought Sakumo back? What sort of angst would ensue?" but I never got around to writing a fic about it, and it seems that now I don't have to, because this one looks AWESOME! (One thing off the list of vague ideas I could maybe write someday...!) And no, mentioning that was not supposed to be a roundabout way of taking offense that you have started writing this and/or trying to say that it was my idea. Not any of that at all! This looks really, really good... even though Kakashi is being a total ASS! Grr! I loved the stuff from Gai's POV, by the way, and I am quite curious as to Tsunade and Kakashi's conversation! Hmm, he goes in looking for Sasuke and will come out with his father, it seems... ah, the possibilities!
