Bamafan101 chapter 1 . 7/1/2019
God I've always HATED the Marauders! Never saw James Potter or Black as any type of heroes. Lupin was also a spineless thing and Dumbledore protected them and promoted their bullying . Any story where they get knocked down I LOVE.
Good Idea chapter 1 . 5/24/2016
I actually burst into laughter when Sirius' mother insulted him and praised his enemy.
PerseusJackson230 chapter 1 . 1/18/2016
LUV IT- I always been looking for a) Snape being a werewolf and b) Snape inventing the Wolfsbane. I tip my hat to you good sir
RedHood001 chapter 1 . 11/29/2015
I hope you continue this or make a sequel to this because it's actually quite amazing and it has so much potential, not to mention that I actually love the bonding between Lily and Severus, I was always saddened by their story in the books to be honest.
Good Idea chapter 1 . 9/27/2015
The characterizations are very accurate exept for maybe Abraxas, but since we don't see him in the books that's okay.

But what I found really interesting is that Severus was the one to break the friendship off and Lily would think twice next time about giving up on Severus because she now knows how it feels to lose a friend.
savemyunicornclarence chapter 1 . 8/22/2015
Lovely hopeful story. I like how it was vague enough that you can paint your own pictures of what's happening with the details you provided. Wonderful job.
KnightlyDreamer chapter 1 . 4/26/2015
Great story
Bellatrix567 chapter 1 . 6/21/2014
Interesting idea, definitely, but I was a bit surprised at the distinct lack of angst. Remus' worst fear was biting/killing someone; he dislikes Severus, but he surely would do more than apologize (I would expect him to flee Hogwarts). Likewise, he shouldn't fear expulsion; Severus would be trying to have him chucked into Azkaban (if Dumbledore didn't lend a hand, Remus wouldn't have access to healing, and thus would likely kill himself in two months via transformations). Frankly everyone's defense of Remus is a bit OOC; people don't like werewolves, and he can't expect to get much sympathy after biting someone, even if that someone is unpopular. Lucius' compassion was surprising, but it never does say in the books how much he likes Severus; you've written it to be plausible. Abraxas' compassion, however, isn't so easily accepted. Severus isn't blonde, for one, and that in itself is enough to exclude him from the Malfoy family, nevermind his being a halfblood werewolf.
"He would have glared at Lucius, but Severus was too aware of status to do such a thing." Beautiful! Severus' take on becoming a lycanthrope can be very interesting indeed. He's already dealt with being halfblood, so at first he might expect it to be similar, with no difference save increased dislike and disrespect towards his 'kind'. He'd be in for a cruel reawakening. Although many in the wizarding world care nothing for blood status, there are very few with great sympathy for werewolves, none of which are amongst the Death Eaters. However, if he wasn't expelled (which he really couldn't bet on, with all his former Pureblood 'friends'), he would be the first werewolf to graduate Hogwarts (Dumbledore can only stretch it so far, and if Remus escapes Azkaban, he would still be expelled). Severus couldn't expect to hide his lycanthropy, but he certainly doesn't act like a werewolf, and with tremendous accomplishments, he could still win the Dark Lord's respect. Of course, he'd have to go undercover with the Death Eaters almost immediately; the wizarding world doesn't have the sort of tolerance they'd give a Marked halfblood for a werewolf. Of course, Severus would likely reject any support Dumbledore offered, as well as lose any standing he had with Slughorn or others in power/with connections.
Woah . . . didn't mean to write quite that much. Severus and Remus are my favorite male characters (although they are surpassed by Bellatrix and Nagini), I guess I'm kinda into AUs about them.
AngelWitch chapter 1 . 3/11/2014
I've been looking for a fic like this, where Snape really HAD got bitten. :D Thanks for writing this!
duj chapter 1 . 2/21/2012
But did Lily actually repent the things she'd said to Snape? Did she ever admit she'd been totally out of line? (And how come Snape's new guardian didn't object to his reconciliation with her?)
TotallyGetsSpock chapter 1 . 8/18/2011
I love what you did with the Werewolf Prank! I feel really sorry for Severus because even with the creation of the Wolfsbane Potion, he would still be judged, outside of Hogwarts. But I can totally see him coming up with that potion- he was really a genius, and got some recognition for creating it. Snape forever!
Dormantness chapter 1 . 6/25/2011
I was so disapointed when I saw that your story was complete, not in progress. I really like how you portray Lily, Severus and Remus, and how you made Lily and Severus's friendship. Based on this, you are a gifted writer, and I'm sure a sequel would have been interesting...
FireChildSlytherin5 chapter 1 . 3/14/2009
Love the one-shot. :)
charlemagnebrat1 chapter 1 . 1/1/2009
Absolutely brilliant! Your portrayal of Severus- and Lily- is thoroughly IC but also shows often-unseen aspects of their characters. Though this is marvellous as a one-shot, an extension would be appreciated.
