You are so right, this IS how it should have ended. Sirius never died, She-who-must-not-be-named went off and married Charlie or Hestia or somebody, and all was well. I like your way of describing a scene in a few words but so vividly I can see it. My favourite image is Sirius tying his hair back with an elastic band. And Remus peering over his reading glasses – I like Remus with reading glasses. If he can have premature grey hair he can have premature presbyopia as well. And blueberry muffins are GOOD! Nice happy little story.
