It's like watching an episode of Mononoke unfold. The personalities, the plot, the themes, everything screams just how much you love this show and the characters in it. Truly, it was an absolute delight reading this. Thank you so much.

The only multi-chapter Mononoke fic I've read so far that has the same terrifying and intriguing feeling as the anime. I also like how you have implemented Kayo into the storyline. She's not just the girl who helped MS, her history and self is part of the Jubokko's truth. I also like the beginnings you've added in some chapters, giving a little insight into MS' thoughts in these situations.

MS and Kayo have a very interesting dynamic, but you make them work in a way that is effective and not ooc at all. I love their banter! Not only their relationship, but Kayo's with Daisuke and the dead girls within the tree. I thought you would've revived Daisuke and Tatsuya at the end (I just thought Kayo and Daisuke would improve their relationship somehow but I guess people change and we can't change how they behave in the end) but they probably dead and not coming back huh?

I'm not sure if this story is complete; It feels like it but I honestly would like to see an epilogue or closing to see if Kayo and MS would part or travel together. Or maybe something else. Well, here's to hoping you will update :)

Sigh* this is the most perfect KayoxKusuriuri fanfic I ever read after crossover MushiShi n Bakeneko. I love the whole plot twist and KayoUri moment. The originality in this fanfic what makes it more interesting. Its like you Watching A Movie of Mononoke. Love to read more!

Oh. They want to cut it down because it leans. It leans because it stretched out it's branches to save Kayo from drowning. It's been sentenced to death for saving a life. That is one of the saddest things I've ever read. But why is it mad at Kayo? It's not like the tree was forced to save her or anything.
