with his genius mind, really... this concept is not so far fetched. i also have this idea that everything he did is calculated. from his sissy, unreliable goofy facade to mask his abilities and intelligence; why he married Kushina (last of her clansmen with powerful chakra, a natural sealing master, the Nine Tails Jinchuuriki, and with the history of the 1st Hokage marrying Uzumaki Mitohow he always say the right words; how he had a modified Eight Trigrams Seal for Naruto and sealing just the half of Kurama (technically so that Naruto could learn how to harness half of its power first!, and to bring the other half with him on the afterlife so the enemy couldnt fully use Kyuubi's full power for whatever plans they havehow he imbued his chakra with the seal should the seal break... the list goes on! and anyone coming in between his plans, well.. you have a deathwish xD

Have I not reviewed this one before? That's a shame because this story is a gem.

I see a lot of stories playing with the idea of Minato's inheritance or the idea of Minato not being a perfectly shiny saint, but this is the most triumphant example of each. If power corrupts, what does that say about someone as powerful as Minato? This entire story is such a wonderful, messed up, wonderfully messed up little fairytale about the dangers of hero worship. I love it. In fact, the only thing I don't love about it is that there isn't more of it.

You've got a hell of an idea and a way of painting a scene with just a few words. You should be very proud of this one.
