Welcome to the Aragorn/Eowyn camp! This was very good for your first LotR fanfic! I enjoyed the flow of the piece and your style of writing very much. The end was very beautiful. *sigh* If only this was how the scene had played out in the movie...

Okay, I have read the books and the histories and watched the movies too. The Aragorn/Arwen pairing was reminiscent of the tale of Beren and Luthien which is why I liked it at first. Then came Eowyn - although the Faramir/Eowyn scene at the Houses of Healing was beautiful, I still think she settled for the second best. Now, I don't have anything against Faramir - it's just that the Eowyn/Aragorn would have been a joining of equals. Just as Arwen/Legolas would have been. So yes, I don't have any violent reactions while reading this fic. :)

I suppose the purists would want to kill me now. Better run and hide. :~/
