I think Severus should actually consider writing a few wizarding romances; they don't seem to have much literature of their own and he could just use what his friends are up to for plots.

Snape and Flamel can cover their traces by claiming to be specialists from Switzerland trying out an experimental protocol, and spend time talking in German and French just to bug anybody who asks too many questions-they could drive any reporters nuts and have fun at the same time.
